I love this shop! The local vibe and friendly but professional service really stands out globally.

I travel a lot and get to deal with a lot of vendors in different countries and I’m pleased to say that the great attitude and knowledge of their staff is a rare mix.

Right from initial consulting on a new build, helping with an oversight I made on RGB config, all the way to helping me isolate a tricky hardware failure/BSOD, they exceeded my expectations.

Prices are very competitive and fair, too, despite the high taxes in NL. It’ll be my first choice any time I’m in St. John’s.

I'd tried tons of troubleshooting, updating, and servicing from other companies- all of which told me my PC was fine and that it must have been something with the hardware- Best Buy gave me a useless piece of advice over the phone: ship it to Lenovo and they can fix it.

Before I did this, however, I decided to try a computer repair store in the city- Boom IT. I was charged an 80$ fee and, for those complaining here, that is quite standard anywhere you go. I dropped it off Monday, and, by Friday I had an update on a descriptive detailing of what was wrong with the PC, why it happened, how it happened, and how they fixed it. It turns out it was a large combination of small things that piled onto eachother. I was not charged a noticeable amount for this- My cost mainly came from the option I chose to update my storage. I switched my 250GB for 1TB which was an incredibly fair price, to my understanding. Before giving it back, the team ran extensive stress tests to try to crash the PC- they recieved a blue screen but quickly found the reason to be my outdated drivers. Any other company could have easily given this back and then charged me more to fix it- these guys didn't because THEY CARE! They even simulated gameplay I would do by running heavy minecraft mods on the PC which it passed easily.

I have had the PC back for a few days now and it has never run smoother! I've had much of an easier time playing mods, and I learned a lot of advice and knowledge I can use to prevent my PC from having issues again (Such as not uploading games to my external harddrive!)

Overall, I would give this team an outstanding 10/10, 5/5, whatever number you want to use they passed with perfection.

Professional, Good communication and well educated. Most honest I.T Team I have ever worked with. They laid out all my options in order of price and review and allowed me to make my own decisions on how I wanted things done. I highly recommend this team for your PC needs.

But they did lose my power cord, but they replaced it with a new one so it's all good.

My external harddrive (T5 Samsung Portable SSD) failed to connect due to physical damage to the connector. Sean and his group were able to identify the issue, provide a solution, and have the product repaired and returned in ~3 days. Will be using them for all IT needs moving forward.

Great little computer shop, they used to carry a lot of new tech but have moved more toward the service industry with the times. Been a customer for well over 10 years. Friendly staff and a nice owner.

I would highly recommend their services! My laptop charging port was not working properly and they fixed it efficiently and in a week even during the holidays! Go with them instead of going to Best Buy or other big corporations who will give you exorbitant rates and won’t be able to do anything.
