What an Amazing Experience at Port aux Basques especially because
Michael Oliver

Let me explain....I've been to MOST CANADIAN TIRES ACROSS CANADA , well A Lot , this was my second time biking across Canada two years in a row buy my first experience in Newfoundland and almost didn't go to port aux Basques because of the hurricane Fiona this year.. so I delayed my Newfoundland experience.. therefore I was in desperate need of appropriate clothing etc.

When finally getting into the Canadian Tire which is always good. I was pretty stressed out and couldn't think so well due to Ptsd anxiety etc... and was about to leave and just scrap my plans...but Michael Oliver approached me a d could tell I was pretty stressed out and chatted with me for a while and directed me to all the spots in the store and helped me think through my situation.

What a AMAZING ASSET for CANADIAN TIRE in Port aux Basques.. so Many MANY THANKS ...MICHAEL OVLIVER..! AND STAFF AT PORT AUX BASQUES !!

SAVED THE SOLDIER ON A COLD NOVEMBER DAY WHEN I WAS READY TO GIVE UP

the Cold weather gear and boots saved me in a Real way. As the weather turned IMMEDIATELY after my purchases

I have so many things gs from Canadian Tire I don't even know where to start

Canadian Tire has saved thaj soldiers situation more times than I can remember and most critically in Port aux Basques Newfoundland and with Michael Oliver, I was finally able to Crack that 8000km Barrier

And not freeze in the feet or body and not get hit by traffic. ))) it's a real situation out there ..Thank You

I would like to thank the staff at Port aux Basque Canadian Tire, particularly Landen, who assisted us when our rear window shattered on our vehicle. A super awesome fella with some funny stories to tell as we rigged up a short term solution that got us on our way home.

Frustrating to goto the store during normal business hours to be advised that no one is available in automotive 3 people all went to the counter for service and all turned away, requested help from a cashier/customer service for an online order and they didn’t even try to help …. So disappointing to try and get things done while your in town during the limited hours the store is open and end up with no results …. Do better port aux basques

Great customer service, reliable products and easy parking.
On site auto repair is okay but not recommended. (Due to many reliable car auto repair shops in Channel Port Aux Basques)
The store is in a great location but usually doesn't have items available when on sale. This leads to rain checks being a regular here at the store.

A surprise! From the road, it barely looks like the Canadian Tires we're used to seeing. It's also seriously small...

Step inside, however, and you're in for a pleasant shock. Every square millimetre is filled with stock. If they don't have it, you don't need it.

The staff are amazingly friendly and go well or if their way to help you with everything you need.

One of the few places on this coast to find anything, just like the staff...I have been there twice, one young girl seemed to be doing everything, her service was great, but I had to wait for it, absolutely not her fault, management needs to step it up, and find that young lady some help
