This Rock Paper Silver shop in Banff is amazing! They have so many types of crystals like Amethyst, Citrine, Tourmaline, Carnelian, Rose Quartz, Amazonite, Aquamarine, Aventurine, Tiger's Eye, Aura Quartz, Bismuth, Garnet, Jade, Malachite, Obsidian and Tourmaline, just to name some. Many people have used these beautiful shiny stones since ancient times in their everyday life for healing and spiritual purposes. I was looking for some Amethyst to add to my crystal collection and was amazed by the amount and selection they have here! Beautiful!

Amazing store there is so much to choose from. I went in shopping for ammonites but I ended up purchasing a Labradorite sphere with a small stand for my collection. Enthusiastic knowledgeable staff.

This store boasts a full cave bear skeleton as well as some massive amethyst geodes like the “angel wings”. There are fossils and gemstones galore. This is a great place to pick up some gemstone jewelry.

They have alot of verity, well marked with both prices and what the products are. They have budget friendly items and then some splurge items and everything in between. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Love the selection and sale prices are so crazy good. Staff are a little hit or miss and the layout is a bit messy which is my reason for 4 stars. There is a lot of competition for peoples hard earned dollars out there so friendly service and a simple hello with a smile goes a long way in the potential revenue of the store. The staff actually walked away from me when I entered as they were chatting amongst themselves and seemed annoyed to be interrupted. I was definitely there to buy specific things so I didn't let it deter me but had I been a walk in Inwouos likely have left a long with a potential sale.

Once I did go and ask for one gal to help she warmed up after a bit and was actually very helpful and far more knowledgeable about stones than I had originally and wrongfully assumed.

I was looking for a wrist mala in Canmore as I recently moved into the valley. After not finding what I wanted in Canmore I reached out to this store via phone. I had a great conversation on the phone with the staff and had to drive in to see what they had to offer. I was not disappointed.

Steph and Ram were so inviting, knowledgeable, understanding, and accommodating from the moment I entered until I left. I ended up staying for almost an hour while Steph made me a custom meteorite bracelet which she admitted never having done before. It turned out beautifully and I honestly couldn’t be more excited about it.

Thank you Steph and Ram for the amazing service and experience. You are truly amazing people.

Do yourself a favour and visit this store. They have incredible products and their staff is unbelievable. I’d give 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

Very weird policies about refunds. A friend of mine bought a ring yesterday evening and it broke for no reason after only a few hours. Those rings are really poor quality we can tell.
Came back today from Calgary and they didn't want to give us refund, saying that it was their policy and it was said on signs but NOBODY told us and was said nowhere. She said she can give her a credit but who wants to buy again a ring or something else in this shop of such a poor quality? After discussing for minutes with one of the staff she finally refunded my friend but we had to beg hard. It's not like if it was our mistake. After only few hours the rings broke. So for $60 we expected at least a better quality. We will never buy anymore in this shop for sure.
