I had an amazing experience at Strike First Tattoo Company in Banff, where I got a small tattoo and my husband got a medium tattoo. Doug (@dougie.tattoo), the tattoo artist was exceptional, truly listening to our ideas and translating them into perfect designs. Laura was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process, making us feel comfortable and valued. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff's professionalism stood out. We highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for quality tattoos and a personal touch in their experience. Thank you for making our tattoos memorable!

We were in vacation in Banff and had planned on getting a tattoo at some point. We ran into a super friendly server at a local brewhouse and he recommended Strike First. He said it's where all the locals go for good art.
We stopped in and talked with Gikken who was at the desk and gave some advice on our choices. Came back the next day and worked with Mac to get the designs right and a quick and easy experience with tattoos. He did a great job and couldn't have been friendlier or done better work!

Would recommend Strike First to anyone. Top notch!

11/10 experience. I first of all really appreciate that this shop is artist owned and operated. Every artist in this studio welcomed us with the absolute most hospitality. We booked a small tattoo for each of us 3 girls on a birthday trip, and it has become the highlight of the entire weekend. Lia adorned me with a small tattoo on my wrist. When I sat down in her chair, all of my anxiety melted away. Rich coming from me. She was absolutely stunning, caring, kind and light as a feather. Highly recommend!

I can’t even begin to explain the surefooted comfort I felt right from the start! I had emailed Laura with the idea of a tattoo and she was absolutely amazing to work with. She was a pleasure to chat with and explain the works of this particular tattoo. Very quick for replying as well as ensuring I had an understanding of the information. I was able to book in prior to my venture to Banff with the kind and compassionate Doug. I was able to sit with Doug and go over the idea, and he made the tattoo a fun experience. Visited on Sunday with a friend and both got our first tattoos. The whole experience was incredible. Customer service was top notch, friendly and professional and with a clear passion for the work. The tattoos themselves came out awesome and we were both very happy with the end result. Our artist, Jay was super nice and clearly an expert at what he does. Prices were super reasonable too which was a plus. Will definitley be reccomending this place to any visitors of banff.

Lia did such a stellar job, I had to go back again before finishing my trip. She fixed a tattoo I had done at perfect image and made it look GORGEOUS. Her work with colours and her detail is outstanding. Already planning my next trip down in a few months and will be 100% getting a couple more from her. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I went here for our first tattoos. The experience was amazing! We were quite nervous about the whole thing but the staff here were excellent and gave us exactly what we wanted.

Their customer service is also impeccable, with efficient email replies. They really care about their customers here and I couldn't recommend them more.

Also, we went to Perfect Image around the corner before StrikeFirst and we are so glad we went with StrikeFirst. They're so much nicer and more professional.

10/10 would go again.
