I am a professional author whose old laptop died last week. Gcom was recommended. The staff ensured I'd backed up my manuscripts on another device before wiping and repairing. These guys were awesome, I brought my computer in Thursday afternoon, they called me within a couple hours with the problem and cost. They also asked if I wanted to speed up my computer as well by adding some more ram, which I have been meaning to do anyways.
I had a call Friday afternoon saying it was ready to be picked up and had it by 4pm.
Great price, super efficient and my computer looked brand new.
They backed up all my files and had them organized easily on my desktop, and also added some great new helpful apps.
I highly recommend them and will be going back if I ever have another problem!

I brought in my Macbook Pro to Sam to have a third-party battery installed. We ordered the new battery and I returned the following week to have it installed. He had it in and out in less than two hours. The computer is working great and the longer battery life is quite noticeable. Very efficient service and very cost-effective.

The employees were nice enough and the service was good, they even offered me a 1 month warranty, which is better than you usually get with used goods. The issue is that the laptop I was sold had a virus on it that ended up grabbing a lot of my personal info and passwords, which then lead to some of my accounts getting hacked. Now, personally I don't think the people at GCOM put a virus on the laptop, they seemed honest to me. I assume the previous owner of the laptop may have set up this hack, which isn't the fault of GCOM but I still have to give 2 stars because of how bad everything worked out for me.

It is an awesome little shop. The owner is friendly and helpful. My laptop crapped out and I needed a cheap spare for a couple weeks. He was very helpful and I walked away saving some cash!
