Shoddy workmanship; demanded final payment before work was completed which was paid under duress (paid over $32,000 for an original estimate of $19,000 for ensuite/bedroom reno, to be completed in 4 weeks but has now been 5 months and still waiting for “completion”); fraudulently charged for work that was not completed and refuses to correct the invoice/refund for money taken but work not completed; electrical outlet quit working as well as electrical for in-floor heat; put ensuite switches in bedroom after repeatedly told to put in ensuite; demanded EVERYTHING be purchased before reno then REFUSED to install or use items which could not be returned due to time lapse, etc., etc.
I have many pics of the “finished” work and the shoddy painting blamed on poor lighting. Owner Derek not willing to address the issues as the work was done by his Cold Lake partner David who refuses to believe that he is at fault. Feel free to message me for more details. The honesty and workmanship of this company are questionable.

I’m very disappointed that not only once but twice Dr. Reno would not get back to me with a quote.
Derrick came out around 2 years ago and seemed very nice and was checking out everything I wanted fixed on my grandmothers old house but once I mentioned metis funding for home renovations, I never heard back. When I called to follow up, I’d be told he would call me back or he was busy and then eventually was told over the phone that he didn’t want to waste his time as they never get selected by Metis funding.

Recently a few weeks ago, I decided to give them another chance so I called to have them come out again to do a quote for a window, door and front steps. This time I mentioned clearly that it would be a cash job. Derrick seemed annoyed took the measurements in under a minute, said he would email me a quote and squeeled his tires off as he left down the road. Never heard back from them.

I have no idea why not only once but twice, I could not get a call back or a quote. I really was looking forward to using this company, they had solid reviews and the secretary is very nice to speak with so she gets 5 stars but thanks to Dr. Reno leaving me hanging it led me to another company that actually responds! I had that other company come out and ended up having my whole garage completely redone, cash job! Thanks PAC Edge!

We are so incredibly happy with the basement renovation work that Dr. Reno completed. From the start they were responsive, reasonable, and punctual. Derek and his team are very well organized and do top quality work. He is honest, communicates well, and works hard for his costumers. They completed the labor intensive project in a very timely manner! We can’t wait to have them back to complete more work for us!

Dr Reno, fully renovated our master bathroom from the studs up to a stunning dream finish. Derek and his team were punctual, responsive, polite, and clean. Derek was very helpful and knowledgeable while I was picking out the components and accessories. The end product was more than we have hoped for. We will have them back for our next Reno!

Derek and his guys were excellent. We got them to finish our basement and we're super glad we did. They were polite, punctual, tidy, and very good at their craft. They had to work around us in some cases and they didn't bat an eye. Totally reasonable and professional crew, would not hesitate to recommend..

The Dr Reno team did an excellent job with our complete bathroom reno! They took the time to make sure it was done correctly, kept us informed on what had been done and what they would be doing the next day, even made sure to say Hi to our dogs as they went in and out so they wouldn't bark. They were clean and polite and we were comfortable having them in our home. We will definitely be calling them the next time we need something done, and highly recommend their team to our friends.

The team at Dr. Reno completed the leasehold improvements for my business. They were extremely professional, the project was finished on time and on budget. I am beyond thrilled with the entire project and the quality of workmanship. I will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them for any commercial projects!

Condo board hired for repairs due to flood. Wall and tile removed without my permission in my unit. No time line from Dr Reno to repair. Ignore repeated requests for timeline materials etc. Not impressed. If I hired company I would move on and and look for another but I'm stuck waiting since July 14 2022. Still no timeline on repair and my washroom is not usable for myself or guests. Multiple dates missed to meet in person to discuss issues with work material etc. They also left materials in front my door for no reason that I had to move. Other tenants complaining about timeline and lack of professionalism. Materials left scattered all over building for weeks on end.
I do not recommend because of above experience
