Unprofessional service, dismissive management, and overall a major time waste. In addition you can add the harassment phone calls they’ve delivered despite not offering any weekend work and knowing that’s the Only time I’m available. Seems like a very lazy company for which a high level of poor customer service is praised. I can see why they have so many vacancies which how they’re going about things.

Totally worth service by avenuliving maintenance tema,
Only attending call for issue and no one take action for issue resolution since last 4 months I escalate issues to Avenuliving maintenance team but no once resolution.
On Saturday aftet 15:00PM avenuliving contractor come for bedroom windows repairing 3rd time in 9 days without informing and opened window after leave all tolls nails & screws in bedroom and leave Appartment with half work.
I am totally disappointed so compliant to Maintenance team they're send maintenance person and they said me if he cleaned this so charges with me, after I have denied so he get back without clean.
Again complain by call to avenuliving maintenance team they asked me we have raised issue but no one come for cleaning and finishing to pending work.

I lived at 6003 48B ave for a year... For many reasons I can't say I was very pleased with the experience. My rent was overcharged 1 month and after me texting / calling for a few weeks and requesting a cheque (from the main Avenue Living number as I wasn't getting anywhere with my landlord in Camrose), I was told "we'll take the money off you next month's rent." If I'm late paying rent for just 1 day there are charges, but them owing me money? No big deal. That was quite unprofessional.

I had to call maintenance often to attend to my unit. They were usually pretty quick and attentive, but it gets frustrating having to call them so often. Oh and they replaced my broken fridge with a used fridge which was not cleaned out, then took a bit of money off my damage deposit for a few crumbs in a vegetable container! I have pictures of this. Also, the outside of the building was never maintained well. Cigarettes everywhere and garbage would often appear on my patio. Even when I moved in there was garbage on the patio, and it was clearly never cleaned in a long time. Even other tenants in the building noticed this and said I should call to make the company clean it, which I wish I did..

If you do rent one of their units, I HIGHLY recommend an air purifier. I have an expensive purifier that gives feedback of how the air quality is... It was not uncommon for it to run red, meaning the worst air quality.

Worst of all... CREAKY FLOORS! I understand this is an old building, but I never knew apartments could sound like living in a cabin of an old wooden ship. Sleeping with earplugs gets very old very fast..

I honestly cannot recommend this apartment / company to anyone. I will never rent from them again.

Avenue Camrose is probably about as human as a rental company can be. The crews work tirelessly year round to help the tenants, and the quality of properties has greatly improved over the last few years. Rhonda and Lisa and the office folk work hard even during rough times to accommodate tenants, including travelling to multiple buildings in a snow storm. The technicians are some of the friendliest people to be around, and do some great work with upkeep on the properties. I'd even recommend them for a first time rental experience, as they treated me fairly and were helpful throughout the whole process of moving in for the first time.

Living with this company was a very poor experience. The staff was not very friendly, and would charge you for mistakes they made. The apartments were overpriced for the space you were getting, and there were many problems within the apartments themselves that the maintenance teams never properly fixed. Would not recommend going with this company to anyone.
