Horrible experience with Courtney 🙄 I came in for a cut and style. Was soooo very disappointed in her. I showed her a picture of how I wanted it cut and styled and she basically trimmed the ends but it is so uneven it’s pathetic! She texturized it too short and I have little hairs that stick up 🤬 She dried it without a roller brush just blew it dry and wasn’t even going to style it she just left me! I asked her are you gonna style it? I shoulda just left cause the way she did was horrific! I went home and washed it and tried to style it but my left side is longer than my right it isn’t even layered like the right side, my bangs she didn’t touch I still have split ends! 🤬🤬 I am very disappointed in this stylist and WILL NOT recommend Courtney to anyone! I was gonna go back but decided she’d make a worse mess I shoulda got my money back thou! I went back Friday after work and they were closed! Horrible 🤦‍♀️

Awkward silence the whole time. Stylist was a half hour late for my 11:30 appointment. I told her I had a dentist appointment at 2:15 so should leave around 2pm. She told me I only booked for half foils not a cut. That is correct because I’ve always been asked elsewhere if I was looking for a trim as well. I always thought time was allotted for both. That’s on me because I didn’t specify. So I’m told now “You can have colour or cut but not both”. I asked how long half foils and a trim usually take her and she said 2.5 - 3 hours. After she blow dried my hair she said if I had 5 minutes to spare she could do a bit of trim, at 1:50pm. That takes longer than 5 minutes. Won’t go back.

The Roots Hair Company is a first class salon. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about all hair types and their products. The salon uses Aveda products which in my opinion are the best products because they are all plant based. I feel so wonderful after I leave the salon. The stylist listened to what I wanted and gave me suggestions for hair color and style. I appreciated the advice I was given but felt that I was making the decision of what I wanted to have done. I would recommend this salon to anyone. I am loyal to Roots Hair Company because they provide a great experience.

Courtney was suchhh a gem! I came from out of province for a wedding and she went above and beyond to make sure I got an appointment just in time for the wedding!! Not only was she a sweetheart in person but absolutely naileddd the vision I had for my hair!!

i always have a great experience at roots hair salon, megan is my hairstylist but all the ladies there are always so friendly and welcoming. i also leave feeling like a new person. my hair has never been better and the products are amazing. prices are very fair for the services that you get! would definitely recommend checking them out!

Absolutely terrible, they cancelled my appointment because Lindsey called in sick. I tried to rebook with anyone at this point, told I would have to wait another week to get another appointment. Not cool...will never be back,EVER!
