I had an awful experience at Clayton park years ago and thought to come tell it after hearing so many other people having issues with this company too. I took my phone to this business because it stopped turning on. After a few hours they called me to go back and said it is water damaged and they needed to order parts ($$$$ parts) but it would take a few weeks to come in. I wanted to go elsewhere in hopes someone had those parts in stock so I wouldn’t have to wait weeks. I paid the water damage check/ diagnostic fee and left with my phone. I went to another business who I explained everything to and within seconds, he said there’s no water damage…the sticker is white and would be pink if it had water damage. He said there’s no way someone looked at the phone and said water damage. He opened the phone and needed to replace one small clip piece on it and charged me $17 total, and said I should contact Geebo back and figure out who did the so called diagnostic. I contacted back, and spoke to the owner Nic who was able to pull up video footage of the worker not ONCE touching my phone or even looking at it the entire time it was there. Yet charged me for diagnostic services and was ordering all these parts for it. Yes, thank goodness for cameras and he did refund me my bill but I have never received such dishonest , sketchy work from a business and I will forever earn people to stay far far far from any geebo! Clearly , time hasn’t helped them grow from the looks of all these 1 star reviews. Still the same service years later.

5 weeks ago, called for a new screen. Was told that the screen was on backorder and that they'll call me when they're able to order one in. 2 weeks go by, I call to see if there's an update on the backorder. Told me they can order that in, should be in next week and we'll call you when it arrives. 2 weeks go by again, called the store and was told there was no record of the order but no worries we can order that in for you and it should be in Wednesday or Thursday. They didn't care when I told them that I had already waited 4 weeks for this screen that they never ordered. Didn't receive a call Wednesday or Thursday. Called Friday, told me that their shipment should be showing up today. Unimpressed, never using their service again. My previous experience was a 5/5 but this was horrific and I'll never go back. Didn't even get my phone back in the correct colour.

Went in expecting a $100+ repair suggested by my phone company after they had a look. Friendly repair guy at Geebo, in less than a minute, fixed the problem and wouldn't take any payment. Terrific service!

I brought in my S21 because I noticed the battery was starting to expand. The guy in the shop seemed nice enough and he made sure they had a battery before we left so I assumed that meant it would be done rather quickly. After a few days we called to inquire when it would be done, they had no idea and told us in a few days. After that we called every few days and were told by the person on the phone that they weren't sure why it was taking so long, the phone is in pieces and they will get back to us (but they never did, we needed to call). Finally about a month after the phone was initially brought in we called and they had no idea about the phone again, but this time they actually called us back to let us know that it would cost us $90 to get the phone back (broken -they said another part needed to be repaired now) or we could pay more money to get it sent out and fixed. Would not recommend this place!

Hi,

Your customer service is very poor.

I dropped off my laptop at the Clayton Park store on June 15, 2024, for diagnosis. Now it's June 20, and they still have no idea what's wrong with it. Every time I call, they tell me they are working on it and will get back to me as soon as possible. They simply say it will take 2-3 weeks to diagnose. If it takes this long just to diagnose, how long will it take to repair? What is a customer supposed to do without a laptop? How are we supposed to work?

What I'm requesting is for you to at least diagnose it quickly and tell me what exactly the problem is so that I can make some decisions. I need clarity on what's going on with my laptop; I cannot wait for weeks, months, or years. My work is being hampered.

Following my comment, the manager called and said that if I wanted to proceed with the diagnosis, I would need to remove the negative remark or take my laptop back. Naturally, I chose to take my laptop, yet they didn't refund the $57 diagnosis fee. Ideally, they should have refunded the amount, but they claimed their time and effort were worth it. I'm not sure what time and effort they invested. What an ingenious way to make money without actually doing anything.

I have had the pleasure of using Geebo services twice at the Clayton Park location. Once for severe water damage on my phone and a screen replacement for my daughter's phone. They replace the screen on my daughter's phone but it cracked during installation. They call me to come have a look at it. It wasn't much of a crack and they offered a massive discount or to put a new one on. I thought this very honest and also the gold standard of service to give an option. I decided to go with the massive discount and the screen lasted over a year. She got a new phone at that point so it worked out great. I found them professional, well priced and good service.

I had a phone that I couldn't charge anymore. When I input a charger, it would do nothing. This obviously caused a problem. I brought the phone in, and they had it fixed within 10 minutes. Thankfully, it just needed some cleaning, but the USB-C receiver is small, so it was hard for me to do properly without risking damage.
