Suppliers and other business partners BEWARE, we used to be a supplier of the company, they have not paid us since summer 2022 and about $9600 owed to us. Numerous phone calls, texts, emails were ignored by the owner/operator MARCIA WOODS.
It is Absolutely unethical to for a company to operate like this, many suppliers like us are small family owned businesses and have bills and salaries to pay, and we needed to hire a law firm to help us with this, so on top of the money owed to us, we now need to pay for legal fees.
If you are a supplier, trucking/delivery company, please stay away from FreshSpoke.
If you are a customer/buyer, please consider doing business/or give your money to other wholesalers that actually pay.

I would like to show the world true face of Freshspoke. I have been fooled and do not wish for anyone else to fall into your traps. It been 5 months since we have done business & invoices are still outstanding - close to $15,000. My company has contacted you serval time via email or phone but no luck.

You & your team are frauds and unprofessional! we need our money for all the outstanding invoices ASAP, i have given you many chances. Otherwise legal action will be taken against you & your company.

I'm writing this review to alert fellow suppliers who are currently or considering working with Freshspoke. There are several concerns I want to bring to your attention:

Their business practices lack ethical standards.
They disregard the importance of customer service.
Suppliers are not paid on time, or worse, not paid at all.
In my opinion, prioritizing excellent customer service is fundamental for any business. However, Freshspoke seems more focused on finding ways to extract money from customers rather than building a positive relationship. They exhibit a high level of proficiency in avoiding payments and are unresponsive even when dealing with collection agencies or legal matters. Retrieving owed funds from Freshspoke is nearly impossible; this seems to be their specialty – evading payments.

Our partnership with Freshspoke lasted for three months, during which we faced numerous challenges. We had to spend a considerable amount of time chasing them for payment, which adversely affected our relationships with existing clients. Additionally, they mishandled our products and failed to manage them adequately. This led to stock shortages on shelves, even though the products were in their warehouse. Our time-sensitive products weren't handled as promised, resulting in baseless accusations of providing expired goods.

Upon informing our stores that we ceased working with Freshspoke, they expressed gratitude, some even refused our products due to concerns about Freshspoke's reputation. Communication with Freshspoke was frustrating, as they seldom answered calls or emails and exhibited a discourteous attitude towards customers. Their explanation for this was having a multitude of brands to manage, leaving them unable to focus on individual suppliers.

Instead of adding stores as promised, Freshspoke caused us to lose existing ones due to their poor customer handling. They owe me more than $1500, and sadly, I doubt I'll ever recover that amount. However, I've taken it upon myself to alert at least 50 other suppliers about the risks of working with them. After terminating my association with Freshspoke, other suppliers shared their stories of exploitation at their hands. As a small business, every penny is hard-earned, and dealing with an entity like Freshspoke is disheartening when bills need to be paid.

Though it may take time, I believe their actions will eventually catch up with them. Until then, exercise caution when considering Freshspoke. If you're currently partnered with them, I strongly recommend severing ties as soon as possible – you'll likely thank me later.

If you are a supplier BEWARE! So many small businesses have been burnt by this company. They take their goods, take eternal time to pay or not at all. Then they go missing, don't take or return calls, don't reply to emails.
It's really heart breaking for these businesses where the owners work so hard to bring their products to market.
