I just love this group! As a business owner, the team arranges so many wonderfully organized events where we can meet new connections. Their recent event for International Women's Day was very well-organized and attended at Deer Creek Golf Club The team at Whitby Chamber is amazing, led by Karey Anne, Lorna, Gizem and the rest of the team work hard to ensure we have amazing events and attendance. Highly recommend joining the chamber.

As a local business owner, I have been a member of the Whitby Chamber of Commerce for years and have found great value in my membership. The Chamber is a wonderful source of information, networking opportunities, and, most of all, general support. Chamber staff are friendly, resourceful, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist in multiple ways; the events range from intimate coffee gatherings with other local business owners to rejuvenating days of learning and inspiration (my favourite is Connect Women celebrating women in business!) to galas honouring businesses and volunteers within our community. I am a proud member of the Whitby Chamber of Commerce and encourage any business to take a look at what the Chamber has to offer.

The Chamber has been incredibly supportive since I started my business 3.5 years ago. I know I could call on any of the Chamber team at any point if I needed help, had a question, was trying to make a connection, needed support or guidance. This small and mighty team also hosts some of the best events and networking that I have attended in Durham Region. The membership is worth every penny. I have met incredible local business owners that are key partners to my business and are trusted colleagues to rely on, and some have become lifelong friends. People do business with who they know like and trust and the Chamber facilitates so many opportunities for this to happen! Cheers to the Chamber Team and to all the good they do for the community!

I see the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, following a last minute, poorly explained, cancellation of Beerfest has made it impossible to make a comment (or leave anything but a “Like” emoji) on their Facebook page.

What are you hiding?

Please define what makes a “safe” event, and what will be the cost to the many vendors, sponsors and entertainers who are left empty handed

The irresponsible decision to cancel the 2024 Beerfest at the last minute will have many long lasting repercussions. Bush league move!!
