Après avoir attendu une semaine après l'écran de rechange pour mon cellulaire. La "same day repair" a pris plus d'une semaine. Lorsque que j'ai reçu mon cellulaire après la répartition, j'ai réalisé que la caméra n'était pas correctement installée. Lorsque la caméra fu installée correctement, la vitre était sale à l'intérieur... J'ai donc du retourner pour une quatrième fois et maintenant que mon cellulaire est finalement réparé, je ne retournerai plus jamais à cette boutique.

I'm done doing business with this person. I will update how this situation ultimately concluded when I find some time to summarize my experience. My review will be updated shortly and include transcripts of my conversations with the owner. (After my first time having to return because of their mistakes, I thought it prudent to record my calls with him). Until then, here is my original review:

Used these guys before for a cracked glass on an iPhone 5. Same day service for a reasonable price. That's why I returned to have my Nexus 6P repaired when the LCD display broke in a fall.

I was told that the LCD was in stock and that it would be ready the following day, and the price was reasonable. When I called 2 days later I was told that they were waiting for an LCD to come in for the repair. When I mentioned that I was told it was in stock, I was then told that they tried to install that one, but it was defective and they had to order a new one. For the next 4 days I was told maybe tomorrow, call back then.

Turns out that more complicated work is done at the Bradford location. By the time my phone got there the first night, a Bradford store member had sold the one LCD that was promised to me. Terrible communication between locations, and terrible "try again tomorrow" service whenever something goes wrong. 9 days later when I finally picked up my phone, they couldn't make proper cash change. I was asked to return as soon as was convenient to pay them back the $2.32 that they couldn't make change for.

TL:DR They're fine for a cracked glass if you have a common iPhone or Samsung Android, otherwise you may get caught up in the shuffle between locations and hear many requests to "try again tomorrow". My phone is a business tool, not just for taking calls, but for specialized software that I need to do my job. I was very inconvenienced.

Nice guys, all of them. But attention to detail is definitely not their strong suit. Just look at the signage on the storefront. The company name has a typo in it. Not surprised.

I understand that my phone is not a common model, and that parts are more difficult to get. That's not the problem. The problem is that your employee was able to check that you had the part in stock, but otherwise did not reserve that part for my repair. The problem is that I was lied to about the status of the part and the reason for my repair delay.

The problem is that your employees tell customers "maybe" because you cannot provide them with an accurate repair time estimate. How do you not know when parts that you've ordered are coming in? The problem is that because of this "maybe tomorrow" situation, I was not able to have another shop repair it in 3 to 4 days, and minimize my down time. Prefacing all repair time estimates with "maybe" is not at all professional, and the fact that you think that it is an excuse for stringing customers along is very telling.

Your customers suffer when you cannot communicate reasonable repair time estimates. Your employees are forced to resort to lying to clients because they don't know when parts will be in (let alone available). It's terribly unprofessional. Step up your game, communicate with your employees, under-promise & over-deliver and maybe you will disappoint fewer customers.

Pointing out that at least you fixed it in 9 days is not a good look, by the way. Makes your apology seem quite hollow.

Once again, feel free to take your chances with Connextel if your repair is simple and your phone is a common model. Otherwise, I would not recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.

I had an LG G6 that was really smashed up, most cellphone repair places refused to work on it or didn't carry the parts to have it fixed. Not only was the screen broken but the bottom was caved in too.

I brought it to these guys and they had it completely repaired in around 2 days for a reasonable price which I was happy for. Thought I may of had to junk my phone.

I waited around 4 months before I posted this review to see how well their repaid job would handle the wear and tear of everyday use and I have zero issues.

A few notes though...

They didn't seem sure on what the cost to repair was, I had it quoted by their call line as 20 dollars lower then what they told me it would be, when I brought this up they confirmed with the call line and used that price, but they didn't seem sure as to how much their own services cost.

The replacement screen they put in is not the same quality as the original screen was. I understand this is generally to be expected, but I certainly noticed a difference in smudge resistance and glass quality from the original. Again this is sort of standard for these types of 3rd party repair shops.

Overall I give them 5 stars because I wanted a fast repair on a hard to repair phone that most places won't even service, and they gave me a fast repair on a hard to repair phone. It was a good job at a reasonable price.

If my phone was destroyed again, I would bring it back to this place.

Simply, I would not recommend this business to my any of my close friends. It took 7 days and 5 drawn out visits to finally get my phone fixed and even with the extended amount of time the colour of the trim for the repaired screen does not match the rest of the phone. On top of that the cost quoted on the phone was not honoured and the final cost was significantly higher than initially quoted. The gentleman on site was nice and polite but the experience was terrible, if I ever need a repair again I will definitely be going elsewhere

UPDATE:
Thank you for the response, although I am not sure if you are referring to the correct repair. I was never told anything about any other issues with my phone, if there were any other repairs required the added cost would simply make it more cost effective to buy a new phone. All I was told is that the parts you had in stock were defective (hence the multiple visits) and new parts had to be brought in.

probably one of the best cellphone repair places i have been. They said they closed at 6 and waited for me to come bring my iPhone x for a battery replacement which jump plus said they could not do because of a crack on the back and said i would need a whole new unit. but instead got it fixed for 65$ AND within 10 MINUTES this was absolutely incredible. and saved my day thought i was going home with a dead battery and a waste of gas. I would highly recommend this repair shop!

Excellent customer service!!! Repaired my phone and I broke it again a couple of days later. He repaired it again right away so I wasn't without a phone. It was ready in an hour as promised. Thanks so much for all your help!!! Very friendly and fairly priced. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend them.

My wife had smashed the screen of her brand new iPhone 11 Pro. We went here for a screen replacement. The owner showed us what his cost would be to purchase a new screen and then showed us what he would charge to install that screen and it was incredible. His cost was so low for the install that we were amazed. The screen was really high priced so we decided against it. He then installed a screen protector so my wife could still use the phone and charged us “NOTHING” for it although we tried to insist. This person is nothing short of HONEST and truly a marvellous business person. Be absolutely certain if you need cell phone repair that this is where you go !!!!!!!

Highly recommend!!!! I spoke to Daniel the technician yesterday and he gave me a few options of what would need to be done to fix my tablet and even gave me ball park quote on the price for each option. That way I could gauge if it was worth fixing. When I brought in my tablet today he fixed it on the spot within 5-10 minutes!!!! I couldn't be happier!! Very curious gentleman and I know I will be back with any other tech issues they specialize in. 😀
