Accommodations are comfortable, very quiet at this time, fantastic location (Lakeview cottage) within feet of airline with unobstructed view of lake and sunsets. You need to be mindful of water usage which was not an issue for us rural folks. Lots to do and see. Highly recommend.

Very well maintained and clean resort including cabins, beach front, in-roads, park, and outbuilding (public showers, washrooms, laundry facility, and recreational centre). Perfect location for sunsets, park tenants are extremely friendly and welcoming. Great for kids. Mia (owner), including her family are extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive when need be. Amazing experience!! Definitely coming back.

We stayed for august long weekend, and could not be happier with our choice! The staff was soooo friendly and helpful. The campground (including public buildings) was so clean and well maintained. Our kids had a fantastic time, every detail was thought of and they had the best weekend. There were organized events for the kids, toys, floaty’s, books to borrow, just lots for them to do! We for sure want to return. Thank you Manitoulin Resort!

I was disappointed with the park. The issues started with multiple phone calls to make my reservation. On arrival the site we were given was barely large enough to fit our 22 ft RV trailer, I had to partially block the roadway simply to get into place, while unhooking and connecting to leave. When the truck was disconnected, the only place to park was right on the edge of road, and that was with the hood/front bumper fitted between 2 trees. Everything was too tight, we could listen to the conversation of the people one site behind us and one site over, and did listen to them, until after 11 pm. Washrooms were nice, some of the dogs were friendly, others were not. There were no "views", no sense of privacy. The dump station location meant I was partially blocking the main entrance and exit to the park. Speed bumps were everywhere, not necessary considering the road conditions. The seasonal people did not engage in conversation, except for 1 guy who cautioned us his dog was very protective and to keep our distance. From other reviews I see free firewood, which was not offered? I won't return. You can't win them all I guess!

Resort is very well kept, the owners were very kind. There is a small dock you can swim out to and a smaller island to kayak to. The docks offer a beautiful view to sit and read from. You can see the stars at night and since the campsites also offer as a trailer park for 6 months out of a year there is a warm sense of community and liveliness. On another note bathrooms are very clean and I would say the facilities were better kept than provincial parks.
