I have used CloudTax for two consecutive years now (2023 & 2024) and have been impressed with their customer service and knowledge on tax filings and procedures. Today, April 4 2025 I spoke with a pleasant woman named Pallavi Iyer and she was able to go back into last year’s assessment and include an unused RRSP contribution I had received late after I had already filed for the 2023 tax year. She also filed this year’s tax return and did it in a timely fashion and I wasn’t kept on the phone any longer than needed. She was pleasant and professional. When she called for the prearranged appointment time, it was exactly on time which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this tax service app/company and value that the fee they charge for their services is very reasonable and affordable. I will definitely be using them going forward as the previous company I had used to do my taxes was ridiculously expensive and I decided to look for a more affordable alternative. When I stumbled upon CloudTax and used them last year and saw how much money I was saving, it was then that I made the decision to use them going forward. I’m glad I took a chance on their app/company/services. They are also a Canadian company and I want to support Canadian businesses. Thank you CloudTax team!

I would highly recommend this service. I used the professional service as my situation was complicated this year. My on-line appointment was booked for next day. My tax consultant was friendly and very thorough. She fixed my errors and found deductions that I forgot about. These extra deductions were several times more than the fee. This is an all Canadian company so you feel good using this service. Will use again next year.

As a self employed individual this software is one of the very few that are free to file taxes. The main ones all have a fee for self employed. The software makes filling out information just as easy any other one. And it didn’t take any longer. I did get an error code but customer service chat was as helpful. (If you get an error make sure to check cra account it may have filed despite error code).

Considering it is free and easy to use. I will be using this from now on!
