This is the top guy in the Ottawa area for radon mitigation. He is very knowledgeable, has been in the business for a long time, and has installed many systems. I got on-site visits and price quotes from two other companies, and the solutions/systems they offered were all over the place and did not make sense at all (I am an engineer). Rob's solution was the only solid one with the lowest price as well. He is also honest. I highly recommend him.

Rob visited the house to give us an estimate and we got a free lesson on radon, houses, air movement and more. We scheduled the work which was carried out by Rob. He took the time to answer my several questions and showed me some key, before and after tests. It is so helpful to have someone show and explain what would be a complicated issues to a lay person. I would recommend Rob without hesitation. Edited to add that radon levels are reading less than 10 becquerels down from close to 300 before mitigation.

Rob gave me a free assessment a year ago that brought my Radon levels down to around 200 from over 400, mainly covering sump pit. I decided to get rid of it completely and Rob installed a fan system this week and so far short term Radon is at 0, waiting on long term reading settling. Rob Mahoney came to perform an inspection of my house after it tested at a level of about 110 Bq/m³. Rob walked around the property and concluded that the structure was sound and any major efforts from him weren't needed. He instead advised us on how to fill in a few cracks and close up a hole in the floor. A less honest person could have chosen to convince us to purchase a $3000 system from him. I'm very impressed with Rob's integrity and would highly recommend him.

Prior to reaching out to Rob at Radon Works, I had been recording radon levels in our basement as high as 300 Bq/m3.

After assessing the situation Rob suggested a solution which, after installation, resulted in our long-term readings falling steadily over the following months. Today they are comfortably below 100 Bq/m3. We can now enjoy our home once again!
