Rubacrete did an excellent job with the selling of the product, the prep work was very easy and clean, the finished product was very well done. Years later, it’s all still intact and no problems. We love this product. And it’s part Canadian and part European.

The patio It's 4 years old now, and other than minor settling in some areas, it held up great, even though we Ice-pick it and clean it with a high pressure washer.

In 2021, we moved to a new house that had a deck that was on the brink of collapsing any second, and the concrete around the pool was sinking and cracking.

I try and avoid wood products (doesn't last, and too much upkeep), so we got quotes for stamped concrete and for rubber surfacing.

We decided to hire Rubacrete because:

1. Stamped concrete would have been slightly cheaper, but only where it could be applied with no existing concrete (under the deck), removing and redoing the concrete around the pool+creating a new patio+stairs would have been 70% more expensive.

2. NOT ONE concrete company agreed to give us more than a 2-year warranty. They all talked about how it can last 20 years, but no one would agree to commit to anything above 2 years of warranty. Rubacrete promises 10 years in their standard contract! (So even for commercial use). That made me feel very safe in my choice.

3. It's better for the environment. Rubber can be recycled. Concrete production has a very heavy CO2 footprint and cannot be recycled.

4. There is an infinite color combination to play with. We made our own... It makes you feel like you're a part of the process.

5. It doesn't get hot like concrete... It's actually colder than our deck used to be.

6. No upkeep! No sealer, no nothing. Can be washed with a pressure washer and it's pretty much indestructible. Won't chip\fade.

7. Feels soft and comfortable under your feet. Makes me want to jump in the pool.

8. Doesn't become slippery when wet and naturally rejects ice from sticking.

9. Can be installed straight onto cracked\sinking concrete and create a level surface in minutes.

Matt and his team showed up on time, finished on time, and most importantly, answered my thousands of questions (I can be a handful). It's very VERY hard to live up to my expectations... But Rubacrete actually exceeded them!

Great service and amazing quality product. We love it around the pool. Also during installation some racoons walked all over a section and displaced the final product so it did not set properly. I called to ask what my options were and they immediately came back and removed and replaced the damaged section, no extra cost and super easy to deal with. I would highly recommend if you're think of refinishing the walkway around your pool.

The guys at Rubacrete did a fantastic job. They were in and out within a day, no hiccups. The floor looks amazing, and I’m honestly shocked that they were able to go over my garage floor in the condition it was in. I was skeptical about the condition of my floor and that I’d have to repair the concrete beneath first, but they assured me that they could gov over it and it worked out amazing and has held up fantastic.

Matthew and Jarod, with Rubacrete, completed several jobs at our home in the spring of 2022. We were so incredibly pleased with the final work. Their communication and work ethic were top notch. They were able to answer all of our concerns regarding how the product would hold up in our cold winter climate. 3 years later and the finished product looks as good as when it was installed. The Rubacrete around our pool has transformed our backyard. Before, it looked very dated and rough with the concrete that had been patched up over the years and now we chose a custom colour to match our interlock and it is so soft on the feet when you get out of the pool. We also had our garage floor done. It is now so clean and easy to spray off. We especially liked that they went up the side wall where the concrete was crumbling; no more dust and messes! We highly recommend Matthew and Jarod, so pleasant and easy to work with and the product itself is amazing and durable!

I have been very happy with the Rubacrete coating on my front steps. The non-slip surface is user friendly. One thing I hadn't expected was that the cold storage underneath remains dry and does not smell of mildew anymore. I chose 70% light grey with 30% dark grey.
