A beautiful outdoor theatre to enjoy St. Lawrence Shakespeare company productions and more. For first time visitors, a few tips: you can bring your own lawn chair to use on the stepped levels, but a few are provided for guests to use. It is full sun, there are a few umbrellas but bring a hat and sunscreen for a matinee. And of course, bring cash for the bar and 50-50 tickets. The sound travels well and the space lends itself to creative use by the actors.

Such a cozy place for a concert. Directly next to the water 🌊 ⛵ surrounding a peaceful and beautifully decorated park, with flowers 🌹🌼 kids playground too.

Absolutely wonderful time watching A Midsummer Night's Dream at the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival

I've been going to the Shakespeare festival there every summer for several years now. It's truly a great experience to see a live outdoor show performed right by the water. They upkeep this in a fantastic way. The seating area is gorgeous and turns it all into a lovely atmosphere. The garden along the path and the walkway by the marina adds to the beauty of this amphitheatre. I would highly recommend seeing a play, a show or musical act at this location, you'll definitely enjoy it.

Easy to find, beautiful setting on the waterfront, lovely cool grass on each level of the amphitheatre that fit a comfortable camping chair very well. Most people had an umbrella for the sun, and the Shakespeare Festival By The Sea provided some also. People held them pretty low and they didn't interfere a whole lot with the performance.

I went with friends to see "39 Steps" and it was such a wonderful experience. The setting is so lovely and the production was amazing. I highly recommend adding this to your summer activity list
