I'm not prone to leave a bad review, but I wasn't very happy with my experience with Atlas Computers & Electronics. As best as I can tell Atlas Computers & Electronics and Atlas Micronet are all the same company, under the 7917805 Canada Inc corporation.

I purchased an iPad Pro 64GB 10.5" from them almost 2 weeks ago, after finding the item through a Google Shopping listing. I purchased 1-7 day shipping, which was the cheapest option, but since I live just down the 401 from Mississauga I could handle waiting. Transaction started out fine, got all the automated emails, then Stanley Sam reached out personally to thank me for the order. As a small Shopify business, I appreciated that he reached out, made me feel like there was a personal touch to ordering from his business. A couple days go by and I'm wondering why my iPad hasn't made it to Canada Post yet with a tracking number. As this was an over $600 purchase, I emailed back to his initial thank you and got no response when requesting an ETA. A bit later I reached out through Facebook Messenger looking for an update. Again, no response.

After waiting patiently for 7 days with no response, I emailed saying that if I didn't receive a tracking number, I'd like to cancel my order. Finally I get a response within an hour that they'd been backed up and imploring me to wait until Friday. I'm a patient person, so I agreed to wait until Friday. I received an email mid-week apologizing for the delay and reiterating the end of week timeline. Friday comes and I reiterate that if I don't receive a tracking number by the end of the day, I'd like to cancel my order. So Friday comes and goes and I send an email formally asking for my money to be refunded. And I see that it was refunded today to my PayPal account.

Now I don't know what was going on his end, did this device ever exist? If it did, why was it being sold with next day shipping when they didn't actually have it in hand. To his credit, Stanley did communicate with me on this issue, but it was only when I escalated things that I seemed to get a response to my inquiries. If I were more patient, would I have gotten my iPad Pro? I don't know. But in this day and age of Amazon next day fulfillment, it becomes problematic when a seller advertises an item, charges shipping on it, then takes almost 2 weeks and still isn't able to ship the item.

Beware of this company computers and electronics. They don't follow their own policies of return or repair even with the time frame of 30 days. Don't waste your hard earned money with this company. Actually their sales are final. Buy somewhere else.
