One of my favourite places to pop in when I need a new read, or just a pick me up! It is so cute and charming, and always has a good selection to browse across many genres. The owner and staff are AMAZING, so friendly and have ordered in books they haven't had for me. Also has a cute selection of art, cards, stickers, and jewelry. We always bring family in when they visit as it is one of my favourite places in Port Stanley. (Pics are a small sample of books I've bought).

This bookstore in Port Stanley is an absolute gem! It has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to spend hours browsing. They have surprisingly large collection for a small shop!

Absolutely wonderful bookstore! Rachel is so helpful and kind, always happy to give a recommendation or order a book. Love being able to buy a book and bring it down to the beach or GTs. We try to stop in every time we visit port Stanley, cannot recommend it enough!!

Stopped in after a nice dinner there. I love the look of the entrance and I never miss a chance to go into a local bookstore. It was as great inside as out. Friendly and a good selection of books. I can’t wait to go back.

A fantastic, cozy, cute little bookshop with an amazing owner. Lots of great book choices, meet and greets with authors, the availability to order if they do not have it, the availability to order online, lots of options for other little gifts (puzzles, bookmarks etc). A very warm and welcoming place to visit. A must see when you are in Port Stanley!

Since moving to Port Stanley 10 months ago I have made a concerted effort to shop local whenever possible. I discovered Lake House Books last December, such a lovely bookstore and owner. Rachael is helpful and goes above and beyond to order items in for you if you want something not currently in stock. I would highly recommend checking out Lake House Books next time you are in Port Stanley.
