This was an unexpected gem! We stayed in the French Provincial Suite, Room # 10. The room was so clean, bed was very comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, jacuzzi was an added bonus. The room also had an electric fireplace that could be enjoyed with or without heat. The price was unbeatable! Looking forward to returning.

This is one of our favourite hotels for a short getaway. That being said, it is definitely in need of some TLC. Initially when I booked 5 months ago, I had requested a ground floor room, and was really disappointed to find we were on the TOP floor, having to climb 4 sets of stairs, which appeared to have recently had the carpeting ripped up and not replaced. Having some mobility issues, I was not very happy with that, and was told that you need to call directly to ensure you get the room you want.. kind of makes booking online pointless IMO. I would definitely have booked for another date, had I known I was going to have to climb stairs every day.|The room itself was large and had a great view. The king size mattress was terribly soft and made for some sore backs come morning. Cleaning could have been a bit more thorough... dirt on the fans, spiderwebs in the corners.|Nice bathroom, and I love the big jacuzzi tub... such a treat! |Continental breakfast was adequate and the deck is nice to enjoy the view. It could stand with some restaining though. They have added a cute little gazebo and firepit just off the deck which is nice too.|The location is perfect, close to shops, beach and restaurants, and the staff are friendly, if (I believe) short handed. Front doors are locked between 5-6:30 so make sure you don't have any requests after that, as you'll have to call someone back on site.|All in all, it's still a great place to stay... the management just needs to bring it up to snuff, for the rates they're charging.

They squeezed a king bed into a room that clearly cannot handle a bd that size leaving the room very cramped. Unfinished drywall work on the wall, dirty duvet, rusty cart in the bathroom and a TV that did not work. Also the paper thin walls and ceiling made it easy to hear your neighbors whether you wanted to or not!

The room was unfinished, gaps in the laminated flooring, patch on bathroom door not sanded and painted. One spare blanket in the closet that was falling apart. The TV was losing its pixels on the bottom of the screen and minimal channels offered to watch and the room was $225 after taxes for one night. We will never go back especially with a continental breakfast for the price. Definitely not happy and oh the bed was way too soft.

Booked our two night stay here after seeing the property while on an earlier stay at an AirBnb property. We both thought it looked very nice, and the location can’t be beat being walking distance to two fabulous beaches, so we wanted to give it a try for our summer vacation. However, looks can be deceiving. From the outside things initially look well kept, however our stay revealed that there are definitely areas for improvement. Put simply, it seems like they are shooting for boutique hotel, but running more like a Motel 8. Which would the fine, but they aren’t charging Motel 8 prices. Simple things in our room could easily be fixed to make a more pleasant stay; replace the stained toilet seat, fix the leaking shower head that is destroying the drywall, paint the baseboard that is forming mould in the bathroom, clean up the rats nest of wires hanging out of the TV, etc. All not a big cost, but it seems that management here has all but given up. Even the common areas are rife with broken and dilapidated furniture. Staff are great, and were super helpful, but it’s time for a shake up at the top if this property is going to thrive. Personally, we’ll definitely stay elsewhere if we choose to return to this quaint little town.

We stayed in the little Inn, ( Paris king suit.) The room is quaint and well decorated. Nice jacuzzi tub in room. Very clean, great a/c, comfortable bed and pillows. Only neg was the wifi seemed to chug along, and better to rely on the 5G network. But regardless 5 stars with the great Continental breakfast and the lady at the front desk is down to earth and friendly! I will highly recommend this place and definitely would come back.

The “deluxe” king room we booked was hardly that. Very basic furniture in a small room occupied about 25% by a huge bathtub. There was also a small bathroom with a small, unimpressive fibreglass shower. Towels were tiny and the type one would find at an old time mom and pop motel. The room was called the leopard room, named so because it has a bleached out printed of a leopard on one wall. | What was most off-putting was that a take out container of half eaten nachos (I think) from the previous had been left in fridge along with a couple of containers of some sort of sauce. | Also the wifi did not work in the morning. I, along with others brought this to the attention of a young woman at the desk who rather nonchalantly advised that another staff member would| be in at noon to try and fix it, meanwhile, we could go to the coffee shop up the street see if we could use theirs. I believe she was confused as to what is internet and what is wifi from her explanation of the problem. It was suggested that we think of lack of internet as a “retreat”…. Believe me, if I had wanted a retreat I would have booked one. I booked this place because it advertised it had internet which was necessary to me on that day. Irritating.
