I went with my husband and two young children (6 y.o and 2 y.o). The room we had was spacious enough. It was clean and smelled nice. If you need any extra towels or anything, you just ask the front desk and they are happy to help.
They have free wifi but we found it unreliable as our devices would not always be able to connect. It is a minute walk to the beach, so very close which was great! Just a straight line from our suite door.
The walls are kinda thin so if you have loud neighbors, you will hear them.
Another thing to note is that there aren't any hooks to hang your towels or bathing suits so either bring your own drying rack or get creative.
Overall we had a nice time.

My friends and I have frequented this hotel for more than a decade. It actually pains me to have to post that the hotel is in such a state of disrepair and neglect that will not attend again .|In the past we have overlooked more than we probably should have as we have made so many memories at this locale. |My advice is to avoid until such time as the rooms and furnishings are thoroughly cleaned and updated.

We opted not to stay at the hotel but instead dined at the restaurant. I'm rating it two stars due to finding a hair in my food, the high price of the dish, and experiencing food poisoning afterward. I do not recommend eating here.

The room was mildew smelly. I bought spray to freshen it up.
I was stuck in my room for checkout until someone showed up at front desk. I wanted to leave by 8 am but had to wait until 9:30 to leave out the front resteraunt door and make sure my room was locked.
Good location though. Good food as well. Nice staff

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in July 2021. Hotel is very clean, beds are comfy, bedding was in very good condition. Breakfast was included, the food and service were excellent. Would be nice if they started the breakfast service a little earlier, 10am is a little late for breakfast. I was surprised that the rooms didn't have a small coffee maker, can't remember the last time I was in a hotel that didn't offer this service. Has a decent size fridge in the room. All the staff we encountered during our stay were most helpful and friendly. Great location in Port Stanley. Will definitely return.

Stayed for 3 nights, our room was clean and neat.||Towels was not a problem. Friendly staff, close to the beach. We really enjoyed the restaurant attached. Buccaneer menu was fantastic many items to choose from with large portions.|||| Viewed the penthouse, very warm and cozy nice view of the lake. Will definitely return.
