My mom banks here and she's had an experience lately that leaves me sour. She had taken out 1200 and the teller had counted 2 / 3 times and everything was good she then went across the street to RBC to deposit it for rent and it was $100 short. She then went back to Meridian and told the teller that had counted it out the first time she was missing $100. The teller informed her she had missed the $100 and had it there for. How do you miss counting $100, how does that money get separated to begin with. I swear the teller was trying to POCKET the cash. Thank God she had it counted right away at RCB and they caught it. I do not trust this bank.

Got my first mortgage with Meridian, and specially this branch. On the day the deal was supposed to close, we had a major issue with the funding that wasn’t related with Meridian. We could have lost the house, or find ourselves in breach of contract. The bank manager, Shawn, went above and beyond what his responsibilities were to make sure we could close the deal. I knew nothing of these guys, and I personally stopped using a « brick and mortar » financial institution for years but they got themselves 2 new fans. Thanks guys, I’ll be spreading the word!
