Cannot get my balance owing in the chat, because I'm not the account holder (my wife is). With Canada post on strike, I just wanted a dollar amount, so I could pay my bill. Del, the hahaha customer service rep claims my request for a account balance as a privacy issue... I have the house address, know the account number and share the same last name as the account holder. I was not requesting anything related to privacy. Guess I'll just pay next month.

daily power outages that turn off my acs, they dont allow autopay via credit card and they dont email you the day your bill is due, but they send you a ton of email before and after. Really simple things i guess you dont have to fix if you have a monopoly.

I have never seen a place where hydro goes out so much. Call in always same story, Oh I see in the log last month they did a temporary fix but they still need to do a permanent one. Heard this so many times. Permanent appears not be an option. Power in this area goes out at least 10 times a year. Times goes off an on constant for hours. No wonder our bills are high. We are having to pay overtime for staff to go and rectify the problem which isn't a consumers problem, it is Hydros incompetence... where is 5th estate...look into this ...someone needs to.

This hydro company is the worst out of all of them. Customer service is beyond horrible , if it was a business that depended on good service and good customer service they would sink

I consider the electrical system of Hydro One reliable and response times for power outages fast.

The price of electricity has gone up and I expect it to more, power should not be so expensive. I would like to see a 5 year price chart guarantee instead of the yearly surprise increase amounts that happen yearly (Ontario Energy Board). Hydro One in Woodstock could work to improve their community stewardship.

Hydro One's website could be better, I should be able to see my meter real-time usage. The power conservation suggestions are not very good considering what else you can do.

I think Hydro One should donate power meters to Woodstock library for them to rent to residents who want to measure power usage on appliances.

Interesting company. Long time to get through on the phone to report a move. Was transferred without actually getting to ask a question but was not told this was happening. After explaining my situation and wanting to set up an account I was informed that there would be a $38 charge if I did this on the phone. Interesting as I had just spent a good 15 mins in the phone already. Strikes me as
Odd. Wish we had a choice and competition for companies like this. Would be able to go elsewhere.

They have raised costs over the past year and they refuse to send anyone out to check what is going on at our house even though they have done it before . We called to ask why they took away our paper billing but the girl on the phone was so rude she actually hung the phone up. Not happy with this place at all !!

The crews that repair power outages in our area are second to none! I’m surprised over and over again how quickly they get our power back on regardless of the weather or time of night. Thank you guys!
