Nothing but a run-around with this company. I was supposed to receive a package from Walmart and was informed I needed to be home to sign for it. For starters, it’s frustrating that this is not specified until it’s already shipped, because my partner and I both work during their delivery hours. It’s bogus to expect people to take time off work to sit at home and wait for a package. I’ve had much more expensive packages left at my doorstep with no issues.

The second frustration was when they attempted delivery on a day I DID NOT schedule, then both the receptionist and delivery driver had the audacity to blame me for not being home, even though I was at work and again, hadn’t even called them to schedule this delivery. The receptionist, Erin, left me a voicemail saying she “spoke with me” and that I set this up. I don’t know who she confused me with, but it was not me she spoke with. Clearly she received a call from the upset driver & was trying to shift the blame on the customer instead of taking responsibility for the mix-up.

I completely understand accidents happen, but sadly that’s not where my experience ended. I finally set up a day they could deliver, and was told between 3 and 5pm. My partner graciously agreed to leave work early to be home for this, but had to leave at 5pm for an important meeting. At 4:45pm there was still no package, so I called the delivery driver myself, who stated he would not be able to deliver it on time. Again, very frustrating. But oh well, I’d reschedule again. Then came the phone tag game with Erin. I have called 4 times in the past week to try and schedule this delivery, but she very clearly does not check her voicemails. I expressed that I could be home on 4 different days coming up, and never heard back. 2 of those days passed & I go to check the Walmart website where it suddenly tells me I’ve been refunded for my order. Nobody reached out to tell me this, nobody called me back. Just a very annoying situation to say the least.

Dont come here to deliver if you are from different company. Firstly they make u struggle at security gate to get entered because nobody responds you even after multiple bell press. Then there is no proper office where u communicate and if u find someone to give your paperwork then back into any dock and wait for. Hours…….. worst place and totally unmanaged site

Guy working as a broker Gurpreet singh sandhu(straight truck owner operator). He owe me $4500 and day and ross did nothing about this. Greedy Gurpreet. Gurpreet pay cash to his helper 10$ per hour so he can save his labour cost.

Be Aware if you are using this company for delivery. Ordered a patio set from Walmart, it was supposed to be in 2 separate packages Day&Ross only delivered 1/2. To make the the story short, over a week later im still back and forth with D&R and Walmart apparently they haven’t been able to locate the other package. Hours on the phone with them and nothing. Worst delivery company, dont waste your time, they are absolutely unprofessional and not reliable at all!
Update! 2 weeks later they couldn’t locate the package, I had to return my chairs. The worst part, the patio set is now out of stock so I cant even order it again.

I have had the worst experience with this company. I was called on Feb 21 from a lady at Day and Ross. She told me they attempted to deliver my Costco bought freezer on Feb 20 but didn’t have my contact info or address. Seriously? How are you calling me now then I ordered 2 other items at the same time and had zero issues with delivery (thank god with a different delivery service) The lady then booked a rescheduled delivery for Feb 22 after lying about attempting to deliver on Feb 20th…and was told I would get a courtesy 1 hour call prior between 9am and 5pm. No show! Contacted the company several times and was told it was on the truck to be delivered today, Feb 23. This is also in writing…again, no show. I have waited at home for 3 days waiting on this delivery as they said they will not deliver the freezer to my unit, that they would leave it in my lobby and I would have to figure out how to get it to my unit and load it on the elevator. I didn’t want to step out and have the freezer delivered that can easily be taken. I have been lied to numerous times by this company, given the runaround and I still don’t have my freezer!!!!! Absolute worst company out there. I will be making sure when I order future items that it will not be delivered by this company or I will cancel it. I am also going in to Costco tomorrow to complain about the 3rd party delivery company they use.

if I could zero stars I would. The products are always damaged, always late with customers freight. management treats employees very poorly, hence why employees treat freight poorly. if you want late damaged good these are your guys. If your looking for employment and want to be treated like garbage, these are your guys... ZERO STARS GIVEN FOR ZERO PERFORMANCE!!!

We recently ordered a shed on April29th for Rona, shipped thu DayRoss, shipped from Calgary to Mississauga, then to the Woodstock where it sat since May 5th with a supposed home delivery May 9th. Note we only live 39 minutes from Woodstock. May 15 th still no shed. Called DayRoss number of times usually an hour to get thru. Finally someone called to say schedule delivery May 21st between 8-5pm. We stated waiting long agreed to make it first delivery at 8 am. My wife waited all day, cancelled specialist appt as did not want to miss delivery. No shed. Called customer service stated maybe truck broke down but not sure. Called again next day stated shed would be on truck for delivery, waited at home all day. No shed!
May 23 lots calls to DayRoss no answers, was advised depot manager aware, requested phone call no return calls. Rona had advised complaint escalated but received no answer from DayRoss, Rona finally advised they were going to cancel order and issue me a refund and they would put a claim in, we spent over 10 hours on phone with no answers, absolutely disgusting!!! Worst customer experience ever!!!
Rona now placing another order for my shed it’s like playing where’s Waldo, except it’s my shed.
