The door was locked and another customer opened the door.

Walking in was extremely uncomfortable as it is likened to a well secured Ghetto financial institution or jewelery store protected by what appears to be bullet proof glass.

I was expecting to be padded down by security but surprisingly that didn't happen.

The woman sitting behind the glass didn't look like she wanted to be there, but I gave this business a chance as I already drove there and the name Tech House is a style of music that I enjoy.

I had my laptop in hand and I told the woman that I simply mistakenly pulled a ribbon out of the connector attached to the motherboard while replacing a battery, and that I wasn't sure if the new battery I bought was even holding a charge. I then asked for an estimate.

The woman then asked me to hand the laptop to her, as I asked myself how I would do that through the glass.

She then pointed at small slot hiding in the corner similar to a mail slot, juuuuust big enough to squeeze my laptop through.

I had already opened it so she lifted the case and looked inside. She then gave me a grave look similar to a doctor telling you that your child may not survive the surgery and that I should brace myself for the worst.

She then told me that if even a small part like the ribbon clip is broken I might have to replace the entire motherboard and this "may not be worth it".

At this point I was already feeling discouraged about this place but I still found myself standing there trying to give them my business.

I then asked if there is an actual technician here, and she replied that "he's not here right now" with no further information offered.

I then told her that I'll take my laptop, and she then asked me if I wanted to leave it to check it.

I then said "No, not really!" And I walked towards the locked door which lucky for me she unlocked from behind her barricade. At least I managed to escape.

To whomever is the manager,
a friendly smile and a welcoming appreciation for customers goes along way.

A bit of encouragement that your business can fix a minor issue on a laptop without making me feel that I would have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it would also have helped you to earn my busines, which I will now give to your nearby competitor.

This has been the worst experience of my life. I went to get my laptop charging port fixed, they said they will analyze it then call me, didn’t call me at all, I ended up calling them myself , they told me they will fix it right away, after that, I was called to pick it up, upon picking it up I got home and saw that it was not working when the charger was in certain angles, so I go back again to them and they told me they will fix it, I wanted it fixed right away but the lady did not seem interested or care what I had to say, I asked for the technicians number and she didn’t give me, says the guy was not around, she later calls me saying the part will be changed and I only have to pay 40 dollars more, I was astonished but agree because I was being told new charging ports can reach in the 100s. Totally unbothered individuals in the Jane location.

Not professional at all. Went there with a friend recommendation to change my phone screen. The girl there got my phone an told me that the phone would be ready on the end of the day. Waited for her call never got it. Went there next morning close at 11h25 am. Left and got back at 2:30pm just for her to tell me that my phone was not even touched cause they were waiting for the screen. I ask why she didn’t let me know in the first place that they didn’t have it to replace, not even a call to say that they will need at least
3 days to change a phone screen. The guy there was very rude. Left with no screen and with rude comments from that guy. I won’t get back there ever. Don’t lose your time going to this place, not worth the time and bad service from them. If I could I would give them 0 stars
