I have used this company twice and would not recommend to others if you're looking for reliability. Most recently the company did not complete my cleaning and did not rebook my cleaning and did not return my deposit. I was notified by email 30 minutes prior to arrival time that staff were unavailable to complete my cleaning as booked (in advance of a special occasion at my house). As requested, I provided new availability within my time frame and I did not hear back from the company nor did I receive a refund on my deposit. The business appears overextended and has no back up plans in place when an employee is absent or seemingly behind schedule.

We are new clients with Valley Housewerks and we couldn’t be more pleased with the cleaning services they provided. I’m these trying times, I was hesitant to consider a company I hadn’t worked with but They were fully compliant with all health regulations and made me feel very comfortable about the level of care and consideration they put into my home. They were extremely thorough with every part of the cleaning. I was extremely impressed with the detail they put into every room. I can honestly say that I didn’t see anything that required improvement or that I would have asked to be done differently. My floors were shining and my bathrooms were sparkling and the dust was nowhere to be seen. If your looking for a top notch cleaning service for a fair price, I recommend Kim and her team. After several weeks of experience using their service I was happy with the level of cleanliness but I would not recommend for a short term rental or Airbnb. Inconsistent communication and lack of attention to detail makes it a challenge to run your business. I’m sure they are fine for regular residential cleaning but not ideal for Airbnb.

Valley Housewerks has been my cleaning service for years. Kim goes above and beyond to ensure that our rental property looks amazing for each new guest. Before we had Kim as our cleaner, we would often get bad reviews about our cottage because it was not up to expectations. Since Kim / Valley Housewerks has been on the job, we've had nothing but five star reviews. I recommend her to anyone who needs peace of mind that their property is being cleaned to the highest standards.

This was my first time having a house cleaner and I was very impressed. They were professional, polite and extremely thorough. They took the time to walk through and discuss my important areas and did a fantastic job. Also appreciated the interaction with my young kids when we came home. Kim is seriously a magic worker!!!! I have 3 kids 3&under and the family of 5 have been home since the pandemic began and drowning in housework. Some friends of mine “bought” us a deep clean from Ottawa Valley House Werks and I cannot believe the amazing job Kim did! Everything was SPOTLESS! She did a fantastic job!!!! Highly recommend!!!
