I work at a small chocolate confectionary and always interested in checking out the competition. I really like the smaller, boutique type operations.

This particular chocolate shoppe looked promising. They had a reasonably large selection, some looked quite unique and well done. When we stepped in, they offered us a small sample. It was a tasty bit of maple fudge.

We ended up getting a couple of large Toffee Peanut Butter Cups. We ate them later, back on the bus, and honestly, they were a bit disappointing. The chocolate was way to thick for my tastes. But the filling itself was good. My suggestion? Spend more time knocking the chocolate out of the molds before letting them set.

The staff person who assisted us was super friendly and helpful.

I had the most delicious hot chocolate at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate. I used to always go to Evelyn’s but now Rocky Mountain hot chocolate is my favourite. The staff are so friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful experience at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. Even though we did not purchase anything, our two little ones just adored the staff member/chocolatier their. I will be back.

Stopped by the store at the Calgary airport. The saleswoman was very personable, sweet and helpful. We got white and milk chocolate with m&ms for the kids, salted caramel dark chocolate, dark chocolate with blood orange, one with raspberry I think. I hate to say this, but I threw away the bag. The kids ate theirs since they’re kids, but I got absolutely no taste of blood orange, raspberry. The chocolate itself was very underwhelming. My favorite dark chocolate with orange is from a grocery store is from the brand Theo. I thought since these are more local, it’d be way better, but I was thoroughly disappointed.

My husband loves Myrtle’s He looked forward whenever we went to Banff to having one in a Fudgery shop on the corner of Banff Ave and second street. We were there this June and was sadden to see that it was shut down. We were directed to Rocky Mountain chocolate. This store is much different than the one with that shut Down. It has prepackaged chocolates and fudge. We were both disappointed in the quality of their chocolates. I love salted caramel fudge but the prepackaged $8 fudge was substandard and the Myrtle tasted like cheap Easter bunny chocolate. Won’t be back.

The chocolate was really disappointing—stiff, overly sweet, and reminded me of a Mars bar left in the fridge too long. Definitely not worth the price lol

This was back in the Spring but I was just thinking of it.

My partner had taken me for my birthday to Banff. We didn't realize how hard it was to find a cake there. We ended up getting a deep and delicious cake from the grocery store and decorated it.

I had kept looking at these little polar bear chocolates bombs whenever we passed the store window. But they came in too big of a pack.

The gentleman there was so kind and sold us 2 of them to put as toppers on my cake and it really made my day. Very friendly and lovely vibe there. We bought a few other goodies and I had the most memorable cake. I still look at this picture often and it makes me smile.

Thank you
