Bad sales man, had to call him multiple times to measure the doors, until now we have tons of missing doors. The service is the worst we ever got. We went to pay a deposit and they had a bodyguard at the door intimidating us. The owner hung up on us twice. We ordered almost 400 doors and we had to pay a hole bunch of extras we couldn't understand. The entire staff is rude. If you have self respect for yourself and want a headache free life, please don't deal with them. The entire crew has issues. Worst experience ever!!!

At the last minute before ordering the doors and trim for our entire house, Portes Express told us one set of expensive office French-doors needed to be changed for another model. They assured us it was IDENTICAL to what we originally ordered. The doors that arrived are NOT AT ALL identical - the stiles are completely different from the entire home design, and it sticks out like a sore thumb, and Portes Express refuses to budge. Let me repeat: they PROMISED the door was identical, it isn't whatsoever, and now they insist we're stuck with it because it was custom order. They gave us a half-arsed option of returning the doors, and they'd TRY to sell them, and give us the money - which they could have sold $2000 of doors for $20 to a buddy, and we'd be screwed. Portes Express, we custom ordered it because you told us it was identical, or else we wouldn't have ordered it from you at all - there are plenty of other suppliers. This has been the most unethical dealings I have had with ANY company in my 50+ years of existence.

EDITED: Finally, the owners of Portes Express have become involved and we may be FINALLY gaining some traction after 3 months of fighting. They have made an offer to replace the doors. I will await any further updates until the doors are correctly delivered, and all promises are made before I update further.

Completely agree with the Joanne Mcgregor who reviewed down below. They don't really care about you or your order unless you are a big developer who they want to keep happy.

We were extremely disappointed with our Express Door experience, which is mainly because of our salesman Eric. First he promised dates just to get the sale. It was a large order (over $4000). Then there was delay after delay, a Door was measured wrong and Eric tried to say that I had the door reframed? Then more delays to have this door remade. Then delays to have materials picked up. Communication with Eric was atroshish from the beginning. The entire experience was so stressful that my husband and I have to say THIS was the worst company to deal with when it came to our renovation.
We wish we went to Homedepot!

I ordered a pantry door from Portes Express Doors (PED), after about 6 weeks and no estimated time of delivery I called PED and ended up receiving the door a week later. The door is magnificent, and the prep work done by "PED" is perfect. I understand that delays do happen but better communication from "PED" would have been appreciated, in fact this would have been a 5 star review otherwise.
