They kept my damage deposit because I gave them notice on the 2 nd of the month instead of the first. They called almost every month asking for the payment that had already been dropped in their secure lock box. I won't use them again.

I rented a climate controlled unit to store my furniture and family heirlooms while my basement was renovated. My possessions were kept warm and dry and I am very happy with the service.

My husband and I were in a horrible crash that resulted in us losing our fifth wheel, truck and almost all of our belongings. Tracy was gracious and so helpful during this trying time. I really appreciate all that she did to help us out. Great place. Clean. Safe.

Amazing storage facility. It’s clean, spacious and easy access……only a 35 min drive from Chilliwack. Staff member is friendly, responds to emails in an orderly fashion.
Overall, very impressed with the 24-7 security cameras, perimeter fencing and competitive rates. Will use storage max for all my storage needs!

Family owned and ran business. Great customer service through and through. Price is decent the deposit was a bit high for my liking but like she said if anything happens to their property or forfeits their belonging they are the ones who clean up the messes! Property and room were so cleanand and well lit. Highly recommend these guys! Great job!

I was recently stuck in Hope alongside many others due to the Nov 2021 mudslides. The first two nights, I had a bunch of things stolen off my flat deck trailer. In an effort to save what I had left, I reached out to Storage Max, and they immediately invited me in to store my trailer in their secure compound until I was able to return home, and would not accept any payment. Truly first class, very kind staff and owners, and I can't thank everyone there enough for taking one worry away in a time of need.

I inquired about a rental unit for a 1 bedroom house with washer and dryer and was told they had one left. I was told this unit size is recommended for a one bedroom house. I saw the storagee unit and looked kinda small but wasn't sure. I am not the expert. I brought my items in and could not fit all my stuff from house in unit. I barely could get storage unit door closed. Well their recommendation was wrong and I should have been sold a bigger size one. I didnt have extra items. I left by mistake 2 chairs outside my unit and without authorization these chairs were apparently taken to the dump and I was charged over 150.00 for a disposal fee. My rent is paid on time but I get an email the other day saying my name is going into the paper because my rental fees are almost 30 days late. I am like what? I am up to date with my storage and what are you saying. They have now made the disposal fee as my rent on one bill and are saying I am late. I asked for a receipt for the dump as those were 2 of my favorite chairs and I wanted to confirm that they were in fact taken to the dump like I was told. I also asked for any policies regarding fees for removal of left items outside storage unit and both requests have been denied. I'm not sure why this fee was charged without prior knowledge but it all seems to be make up the rules as we go kinda business. They locked me out of my storage unit because I refused to pay this 150 disposal fee. I haven't had access. I would not get into any kind of business with this company unless you get detailed writing about policies and procedures , they should be clear and understood by both parties before doing business. I would not recommend this business, as the way i have been treated is definently less than...... they seemed nice in the beginning but quickly changed once I moved in. I have given my notice to move out.

I'll definitely be recommending your units to any friends I know moving out this way and needing a place to store their belongings! Even though the storage unit was unheated it was secure, dry & moisture-proof, despite the harsher than usual winter. Have a great day!
