This taxi service just helped out an elderly gentleman stuck on the highway after he lost everything in a Chilliwack fire. He was on his his way to his temporary lodgings, due to the fire situation. There was also no charge and the taxi driver stayed with this person right through check through. Amazing job guys.

I called to get a cab he was talking to me in a different language thinking it was his friend still no idea why they can talk on the phone the whole time again work rather then driving properly or even answer the phone correctly

On December 20th, I took the bus to the interior for Christmas vacation, when our broke down 10 mins outside of Hope. We were told that a driver would need to be called in and new bus would come from Vancouver.

A few of us decided that we did not want to wait for hours on the side of the road at late night and reached out to Hope Taxi.

They managed to send us a driver named Hermeet, who actually had the day off, but had the good heart to help us out and drive us all the way to downtown Kelowna in snow and low visibility foggy conditions. Excellent driver that drove us safely to our destination . Very friendly and sociable and made us feel very comfortable.

This is my first experience with Hope Taxi, but employees like our hero Hermeet really saved us in a pinch and is a great representative of the company.

I waited over an hour stranded on side of road with a 5 week old baby. They said minimal wait time was 10 minutes max. I called back twice for them to say he’s in his way 🤦‍♀️
And still never arrived worst experience ever!!!! They lost over $200 plus cab ride to Abbotsford

I’m upset that this company is no longer as reliable as it once was. I phoned for a cab this morning after taking my car to the shop, and needing a ride back home. I was told 15 minutes for a car, no worries! 25 minutes passes, no car or contact about the whereabouts.. I call and ask if they’re coming and the dispatcher says yes 2 minutes away, I continue waiting.. another 15 minutes goes by.. no car no contact… I call again and am told 2 minutes again.. the driver shows up after another 5 minutes , no kindness or words to offer any sort of apology for the delay. It would have went a long way after waiting an extra half hour than expected when I was really needing a ride.

Slow, sluggish, and astonishingly long wait times. Mostly rude, socially inept and boorish drivers who smell like a mobile landfill with absolutely no social decorum. You might as well try conversing with a fermented, and rotten potato.

For anyone booking, I've provided some rough translations for you:

"10 minutes" = About 37 minutes.
"15 minutes" = About 43 minutes.
"20 minutes" (their go-to) = Between 1.5-3 hours.

I'm told senior management and/or owner/operator/s are reluctant to get more cars out there, or hire more people - so this business will continue to disappoint more than satisfy until more people speak up.
