best experience I’ve ever had with a repair shop. called around and this place was not only the fairest price but also the fastest in the city for my Xbox Series X/S repair. He also completely cleaned it out top to bottom at no extra charge. Trustworthy and genuinely just the best guy.

I want to give a very honest opinion, so that others know what to expect if shopping here.
I went here to get my desktop computer repaired. I needed a new ssd with windows put on it. I needed new fans and my computer was overheating. They were able to figure out the overheating issue very easily. My computer no longer is overheating. I should have gone in here ages ago with my pc! Haha but I didn't know how easy it was to fix that.
I did find the communication alittle difficult, which is why I only gave 4 stars. Because I was offered a price one day, and then another day when I went in to set up the arrangements for the work, the price changed, as well as the time frame for the work to be complete was also changed from what he originally had told me. He said about 3 hours for the work, and then it went into having to pick it up the next day close to closing time the next day. Even though I called him 15 minutes before I went in, and asked if it would be ready that same day. He then changed that once I got to the store. So I was not to impressed over the changes in pick up time. He did however do some work he didn't have to do for free for me. And when I was confused about my windows program, he did stay after hours to try and resolve the issue, which in the end seems it may have been my mistake and not his for the windows issue.
Keeping your word on pricing and how long it takes to complete the work, is important. I do understand if the work was more complicated then expected, but the delay from my understanding, was due to him being busy with customers coming in.
He was friendly and he tried helping even when I got frustrated. He was knowledgeable about how to fix my computer problems with the overheating, so I give them 4 out of 5 stars and I do recommend this shop to others.
Just be aware that he forgets pricing deals and is not consistent with pick up times for the products. If you are ok with that, he in my opinion is good at fixing electronics and I will go to him again in the future for help with that stuff.
The pricing was also good in my opinion. Even though he was offering different pricing from one day to the next.
Thank you for helping me with my computer and putting up with my frustration when I got frustrated. I appreciate the help, because my computer seems to be working very good now.

Its been 5 months since the fix so I give this feedback with hindsight in mind as well. My Huewei GT2 pro needed a fix and I'd taken it elsewhere and they couldn't fix it. I brought it here and at first he couldn't as well, but he took it on, did the research and figured out what was wrong! Turns out it was a bad button. One of the two buttons on my watch was on the fritz so it was constantly "clicking" itself and not responsive when I'd press it.

He gave me a affordable estimate, ordered the parts from abroad, got it and fixed it, didn't up charge me and did it all in just about 3 weeks. 5 months later it still works perfectly! I don't make this review lightly, this guy is the best.

I went in looking to fix my keyboard and usb port. The shop owner quoted me a price where other places charged me the same price just for the usb ports. While it did take some time as the parts had to come from overseas as well as repairing was a tedious process, I was very happy with the results and I definitely recommend this place for your electronic repairs.

To all Scarborough resident, I highly recommend this Smart Home Store on Eglinton (Eglinton & Markham intersection). Especially, a repair or replace part for a small appliance, this store might be only one in Scarborough that can serve our community.

I live in Scarborough for almost 20 years and use to be a quality inspector as well as work as a customer relation manager, I just happened to use the service of this store and I truly amazed that this store has all of these good services I did experience in my career.

I broke my small appliance which I have use it only a few times. It costs me only over a hundred dollar but I feel very wasteful to just throw it away. I did call most of repair service providers on Google. Almost every one of them don’t repair a small appliance. Only a few of them talked to me and told me that a minimum charge is $90 and said it is not worth to repair. They just want to make money but over look at how I feel.

Fortunately, when I called this Smart Home Store, they took time to explain to me and willing to try to repair with a reasonable cost. I took my small appliance to this store and they look at it as well as replace the same part that was broken. They told me that after they did replace the same part they find that that part doesn’t produce the best capacity for the machine. They went and changed for the higher quality part without asking me but presenting to me later. They charge me with the same price that they told me from the beginning. The price is just over a half price of all other repair service providers.

To make a story short, I am very happy and notice that every customer who came in and out of store were also very happy. One customer asks for a $10 discount and they didn’t hesitate to accept it right away. To me, this store is willing to help others and they know deeply that a few dollars might be meaningful to some people because Scarborough is the resident of average to low-income people.

The peak of my story is that there is almost zero to none of good people in the current society who is understanding and willing to help others. This store is perhaps only one repair service provider that has this quality. I strongly recommend and very happy to use their service.

They are fraud I changed my iphone 14 pro max screen on the 1st day it was glitching and turning on and off.and I bought a airpods pro copy it was working Ok on the first but after that wasn't working,and my friend bought a laptop from there he checked it,it worked he said if something happens bring it back.when went home setting up everythingit started turning on and off.he brought it the back the other day saying it was turning on and off he said I'm not taking it anymore.he's a big fraud I don't recommend you to go there
