Have to say, we felt these folks took advantage of our situation. Significantly overcharged us on time for a tow and simple replacement of the idler pulley. Also charged us an unlocking fee to get into the car without our consent while we were hitching a ride to them with our keys. We found our own used parts and knew what needed to be done. We had even considered doing the work ourselves after they towed us. But they did the work while we were hitching instead. It looked like a 30min job, and the tow should have been 40 minutes round-trip. We were charged for two hours for each service.

TLDR: Friendly people and quick service... But they did work without our consent, and they seemed to round up their prices/labor time pretty generously. We think this may be because we were not locals. Can't recommend.

Note: Bee Jay's Towing and James Bailey Auto are run by the same folks.

Really good service. Owner had to drive about six hours to get us, and we got back to the shop at 1 AM. Even so, we had a nice chat with his family while he mounted a loaner tire for us. A flat tire hours from nowhere ended up being a good thing!

James has taken over the business and is highly recommended. ‘Above and beyond’ would be a massive understatement- he’s a really good bloke who saved my bacon. If you’re stuck and need a tow you can trust him to help you out.

Got stuck on BC 37 with a bad fuel pump relay about 60km from Watson Lake; They towed us in and gave me assistance on how to find parts, and showed us the best places to go around town waiting for them to arrive! Thanks to BeeJays, we made it to the Arctic Ocean!

I don't normally write reviews, however I needed a tow in a bad way the other night while stuck 45 km south (east) of Watson lake. Initial contact made informed us the driver (James) was busy, but would be about 6 hours to get to me. well, he was 6 hours and 15 minutes, and that is close enough to perfect for me.
I needed my motorhome brought to whitehorse, James loaded up my unit in the most caring and professional way, then had me jump in with him and we headed to whitehorse. very courteous and professional driver, he went above and beyond. Not that i wish or hope for a tow every day, but if I need one again, I will call James.
Best service I have ever received out of Watson Lake, hardest worker I know. This guy goes and goes to ensure you are happy. refreshing to see this great service along the highway.
Oh btw, I was out of cell service so used my starlink to contact BCAA to arrange the tow. seamless and quick.
You ever need something towed in the North, call James.

2 stars because they showed up in a reasonable amount of time. When driver exited the tow truck, I thought he was driving the Cheech and Chong mobile. Couldn't stand within 10 feet of him because of the pot smell. When I called to make the payment, the lady that answered was rude and aggressive. She actually told me I should have "hiked" the 24 kms to town, at 8 pm, -6C, in the dark. They will not dispatch a truck until they have been paid prior to doing the job. Guess they would rather leave a person stranded in the ditch in the middle of winter. Good luck if you have to use this company.

Bryan is the best! My in-laws were travelling up to the Yukon from the NWT and broke down at Contact Creek. Bryan showed up so quickly and took such great care of them. He towed them, their vehicle and a trailer full of supplies to Watson Lake. He dropped their truck off at the shop and dropped them off at Tags so they could have breakfast. Thank you Bryan for your amazing service! We are beyond grateful!!!

Awesome service, worked hard for us. From Jen in the office to the tow truck driver to the mechanic. We had a hub blow out, on our boat trailer Kilometer 1176.
Got us towed back asap. Mechanic was great. Very easy to work with. I’ll give them all a ten.
