I've used IMT a number of times in the past. The first job was an S76 that was trucked across the USA. The driver didn't allow for clearance between the nose wheel door and the strops were resting against the airframe. It bent the airframe which was damage we didn't find until it arrived at the destination. The second event in 2024, I paid $7500 USD to move a helicopter across the USA. They couldn't find a vehicle to pull the flat bed and failed to show up on time. The job dragged on and we incurred hangar demurrage which we had to pay. When the aircraft finally arrived at destination, removing the tape they used to stick plastic to the paint left resin which was impossible to get off the windows and it stripped off the the paint in areas where it was thin. I paid a professional detailer $1500 USD to work on the windows and after months of photos and emails with IMT, the best they could offer is a $1500 discount for a future job. They refused to make an application to the insurers and I wasn't asking to be made 'new' but anyone in Aviation knows that paint repairs are not cheap. Since the aircraft was for sale, I didn't have the time to work on encouraging them to provide good customer service and sold the helicopter with a discount for the damage. We move a lot of gear, we don't move it with IMT.

Observed a clearly marked IMT truck traveling in Ontario on the eastbound highway 401 between London and Woodstock. The driver was 20 km/h over the posted speed limit, clearly not speed limited. The night time road conditions were extremely poor due to heavy snowfall causing poor visibility and slippery roads. The driver tailgated traffic and flashed their headlights and honked their horn to get other traffic to move out of the way. The truck repeatedly used the inside lane of the highway that is prohibited to commercial motor vehicles.

Drivers' behaviour on the road is a direct reflection of their employer's training and policies. There is a reasonable chance that this truck will end up rolled over in a ditch this evening with their customer's load destroyed. I would not recommend anyone trusting their freight to such reckless carriage.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this company and dealing with Ron, very open and honest company to work with. I would recommend , As I have never used a transport company before and these guys knew there stuff and were informative and answered my questions.
