We had an excellent stay at this winery in our RV. The owner Ben was away but he communicated with me clearly by text. We had a tasting when we arrived, we enjoyed various wines and ports and bought some to take with us. The winery is beautiful and it was very peaceful. It was extremely hot but the owner graciously allowed us to plug in overnight for a small fee.

I greatly enjoyed the visit to Columbia Gardens Vineyard & Winery in Trail, BC.
My wife and myself dropped by and met Nancy who was tending to the vines at the time.
We interrupted her farm hand work and she treated us to a lovely tasting of your wines, excellent range of flavors.
Thank you for making the port style wine it has amazing body.
Looking forward to your plans for RV parking.
Super cute name for the dog by the way.
CG is now a must visit when we vacation in the Kootenay's.

My sister was staying at the vineyard so we dropped by for a visit and had a tasting. That was fun!! Ben really knows his wines and hearing his stories was almost more fun that trying out the wines. If you are looking for something fun to do in Trail - do yourself a favor and check this place out.

We stumbled on this winery doing a road trip and just wondering.

We rang the bell and the owner came down immediately. We were given a sampling of about ten different products the make on site. No charge for sampling. Their port is excellent. We left with a bottle of white wine and a bottle of port. I wish them success in their winery as it is small but very accommodating to walk ins.
They also have a room for rent. Nice place.

Ben De Jager is an awesome personality to hang out with. You can taste the authentic grape fragments on your pallet and can plan any event or birthday party in vineyard while tasting the special cheese. You will get a numerous different wines to taste and a lot of country experience to feel. A huge range of exotic winery experience is provided when you are in columbia Gardens Vineyard, Trail. You will definitely forget the Bordeaux and Burgundy region of France when you are with Ben De Jager. Love you Ben. Wish to see you soon.
