We experience a lot of outages up the valley and fortis has amazingly fast response times. Thanks for all you guys do to keep us connected. And I appreciate how quickly the outage maps are updated and how easy it is to call and request a work order. Nothing but good experiences with Fortis here in the Kootenays

Shady business practices. Fortis uses weather conditions and being short staffed as an excuse to estimate usage during winter months. The estimated amounts are typically three to four times higher then the largest bill ever received for an actual reading. I recommend this multi billion dollar company hires more employees and invest in some winter tires. Stop exploiting customers simply because you can.

2 snowfalls just to start the winter off, 2 power outs lasting up to 12 hrs each.

Our area was scheduled to have an outage Aug 30 between 10am & 2pm(the call came in on the 28th. We rescheduled all our clients and found nothing happened on the 30th after all. The trucks showed up on the 31st at 8am, so now we have to reschedule again! When we called, it was made out that we had misheard the information! Two of us heard the call on the 28th and the date given was the 30th.

these people have been chansawing in a quite rural neighborhood until after 9 pm at night last night. They have had truck in the area all day again today but chose the late evening to run the chainsaws non stop with no consideration for residents in the area

Power went out on New Year's Eve for about an hour, these guys fixed it super quick. Respect for those workers. Love it! Keep killin it guys
