They take everything from the regular plastics, cardboard, and glass to foam, small kitchen appliances, paint, batteries, etc. There's even a spot to exchange books. Well laid out, easy access. Great little place.

Best recycling facility on the Sunshine Coast. The place has changed over the years and is really improving. They accept most everything but Green Organics and larger "Dump" destined items like large pots, beds etc. They are a great place to recycle old NON-Working electrical items such as Phones TV, Small Appliances etc. If the item is working please consider donating it to one of the Thrift Stores in the area before recycling. Hours of operations are good and facility is clean and easily accessible for users. Good Job and Thanks you to the team.

I had a bunch of things.... Paper. Cans. Milk cartons. Plastic bags. Cardboard. Other hard plastics. They took it all. Awesome!

This place used to be so much more user friendly. They have raised the slots in the cardboard and paper containers so high that it is very difficult to reach, especially for shorter people, more frail people and people who have shoulder problems like I do. When I told one of the employees about the difficulty he just shrugged it off and said they weren't going to do anything about it because people had cut themselves on the containers when the slots were lower. If they don't fix this I may have to start tossing my cardboard and paper in the regular garbage which will then go to the overburdened dumpsite in Sechelt.

Great drop off for a variety of recyclables. Batteries, electronics, foams and all the regular stuff. Best to bag up in the following catagories to speed up drop-off covid wise. Put your hard plastics and tins together, and group soft plastics, mixed papers, cardboards, tetrapacs, refundables, and glass. Recycling is time consuming but getting it right is important. If you put more than 8 percent of the wrong materials they will have to throw away the bunch as I'm told. For compost try blending garden smoothies to add to your soil, no Composting required, just dig a small well, add blended scraps, cover with and inch of dirt. Tadah. Half your waste weight just got diverted to nutrients for your own garden.

For our family going to the recycling depot is an event. Not only can we clear out our house of recycling we enjoy looking through the books.

Often busy so avoid peak times. Usually can get in and out quickly as long as there is a parking spot. Tends to be a lot of recycling floating around the lot.
