Cara did an amazing job giving my 6 y/o twin boys haircuts. One of my boys is on the spectrum and therefore has some challenges with new places, people or unfamiliar routines. Cara was calm and welcoming and met him at his comfort level.
By the end my son was hopping around happily and exploring the cool space.

Oh that's the other thing: it's just plain cool in there. Part speakeasy, part old school barbers with a view of the Gibsons marina.

10/10 would go again!

Luxury Redefined. I walked into a barber shop that was at another level right from the start. The place is breathtaking and transports you to a very luxurious setting. Then you meet Cara and Mike. Their warmth and genuine human connect makes one feel right at home in this beautiful space. Cara is very skillful at her work and the fab cut one gets leaves one in a very happy place. My son and I have both been getting our haircuts at Cardinal since they opened in 2022. Cara is hands down the best barber I have ever worked with and Mikes customer service is unmatched. They make sure that we are satisfied with every cut. My ASD son has been anxious around haircuts for years and Cara and Mikes patience helped to get him to the point where there is no more anxiety around getting his haircut. I highly recommend booking an appointment with this local shop. 👍🏼

The only place I’ll let my husband get his hair cut on the coast! He has thick hair and a big beard and always leaves looking (and smelling!) like a million bucks. Cara and Mike are so friendly and make such a great team - you can really tell they love what they do. The atmosphere is clean and sophisticated and I know he appreciates feeling pampered at every appointment.
