These guys deserve more than five stars! I stopped in one day with issues with my remote start in my truck and they dropped everything that they were doing. Got my vehicle in there and had it fixed within an hour and I was back out on the road. I’m not too sure the gentlemen‘s names that were working but definitely top-notch service highly recommend them!

2 Stars – Apology Accepted, But Service Fell Short of Industry Expectations

I’m giving two stars only because the owner took the time to apologize, and I do appreciate that gesture. That said, I’m extremely disappointed with how my situation was handled.

I brought in a brand new unit that may have gone into lockout due to air in the coolant system. It was installed in Thunder Bay, but I’m currently in Winnipeg. It has full warranty, and the issue occurred after just 30 minutes of runtime. I was aware they close at 4 p.m., so I made an effort to show up early the next day to see if they could spare a few minutes to connect the Webasto diagnostic tool and reset the fault codes. We had an urgent northern run ahead, and this was a critical request.

Instead of assisting, I was told flat-out that they were too busy and didn’t have time. No attempt to assess. No scan tool check. Just an assumption that there was “some other issue,” and I was sent away. I had just spent 40 minutes driving across town and another 40 minutes back. A total waste of 1.5 hours for a crew of two people. That’s not just inconvenient. That’s poor customer service and a missed opportunity to support a paying customer in need.

This is exactly how businesses lose future clients. When service centers turn away legitimate, time-sensitive issues involving brand new equipment under warranty, they create space for others to step in and meet customer needs. From what I understand, a mobile tech is entering the scene, and I expect they’ll be far more available and willing than what I experienced here.

While I respect the apology, I hope this experience serves as a learning moment. This isn’t about self-entitlement. It’s about meeting the standard of professionalism and responsiveness that this industry expects. When a customer brings in a brand new unit with a possible lockout, the first response should be to help, not to turn them away. Most likely the unlock would have solved the issue 90% sure, and I’d be very appreciative and long term customer.

I had a dash camera installed today. The service was efficient, friendly and informative. The install was neat and professional. The price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

I was referred to this shop for command start at a good price and was told that i had two options for my car. First option was a one way with no key, second was a two way with a key installed. i called to book my appointment and asked for the first option. the person over the phone confirmed that it was one way with no key, so all seemed good. i drove across the city dropped my car off went back to work. i got a call around noon saying that its not possible for either way to be done without a key, and there was nothing they could do even if i were to grab my key and bring it to them, i would have to make another appointment. So i did that and when i took my car in this time with the key, i got a call back around noon again saying that it could not be done at all.

Had dash cams (front & back) installed. They did an awesome job - all wires are perfectly hidden. They had the answers to all of my questions. Very happy with their work.

These guys are very knowledgeable and helpful when needing advice on dressing up a semi rig. They are also a big contributor to the trucking industry, in regards to hosting trucker show n shines totally at their own expense. I personally appreciate and recommend them.
