Erin and the team at Taz hair are great! Erin is incredibly talented and did a great job doing a balayage on my very long hair. Normally I'm nervous of getting my hair colored but she really made sure that I was happy with the end result and was a great sport when I asked if she could adjust something. Her and the team were super courteous and friendly and I had a great day with them and left feeling really happy with how it turned out. Definitely a person you can trust to make you look the way you want.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I had a terrible experience at Taz Hair Salon and would not recommend it to ANYONE. I went in to get my balayage lifted back up and a trim after seeing the high reviews and that the stylists were award winners. I paid $350 for what I thought would be a flawless lift and cut, but it was far from that. The lift was poorly executed, with the line between the outgrowth and the new "lines" that she added, still very visible when I got home.

When I contacted the salon to have it fixed, I was met with an unpleasant atmosphere during the correction appointment, as if I was in the wrong for pointing out the stylist's mistake. After another 3 hours, there was still no real improvement—the line was still visible, and the balayage was not properly lifted to cover the outgrowth as promised. She was insisting that there is no line and even took the photo below to "prove" it to me, where we can still visibly see the line.

No refund was offered despite the subpar work. A stylist who is "doing her best" to do a balayage lift should not be charging $350. Winning an award 10 years ago does not mean you still have the skill or attention to detail required to meet client expectations today.

I expected better quality of work from such a reputable salon and the humility to admit when a job cannot be done instead of prioritizing profit over client satisfaction.
As per the attached photo of the email exchange, everyone at Taz considers this a corrected Balayage (And I will let you guess which of my photos is after the 1st or 2nd balayage lift appointment).

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—there are far better salons in London, Ontario.

Hands down have always had the best experience at Taz in London. The Taz team is amazing! From the secretary, to assistants, makeup artist, to all the stylists. Thelma has been go to stylist for years and years, she’s truly incredible at what she does. I’m so glad I can always come in and trust with my hair needs, I always feel at ease knowing she’ll do exactly what I want and need! Her assistant Monika did a wonderful job as well! I love this place so much. If you’re looking for a new place, you should definitely try Taz! 🙂

I’ve been had my hair done here several times ant Taz and I absolutely adore every experience! From melty balayage to rock and roll dimension to wedding highlights, Cece has done an amazing job!! All the stylists are so friendly and engage in conversation with you throughout the appointment. Highly recommend!

Today I had my hair cut/coloured/styled by Candace at Taz Hair Company London. I am super happy with the results. Candace does a great job styling my curly hair and I love my highlights. I have received nothing but great compliments on my hair style and highlights since Candace started styling my hair. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere of the salon is very welcoming and open. All the ladies who work here are kind, respectful, skilled in their craft, and genuinely interested in their clients. I've had my hair done here multiple times, and I'm always impressed with the service, and the finished product. It's also quite afforadble for such an upscale establishment. 10/10 recommend to friends, family, and anyone looking for quality hair care.

I had an amazing first-time experience at Taz!! The environment was so welcoming and clean, and all the hairdressers were extremely friendly. Thank you to both Thelma and Monica for their work! I had a great time chatting with them and left the salon with the hair I had asked for..but better! I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone, but especially to any Western students who have busy schedules and are looking for an easy/quick hair glow-up 🙂
