I hadn't used my laptop In a couple years but it had been stored properly. I When to use it to edit photos and it was a little slow, so I took it in for them to do updates and speed it up.
While they were running their tests, they fried it.
They told me it was just the screen that wasn't working so they ordered some part.
I waited several weeks for them to get the part and fix it but the part didn't work. They ordered another part but while they were doing their tests they said it completely died.
They said I could still get memory off of it but only if I bought one of their computers or expensive hard drives to put it onto.
I asked to just have it back because at the time I couldn't afford that, but they refused to release it unless I paid full price for whatever they did to kill it. I didn't think I should have to pay because of the fact that they killed my device. They kept it and told me they were throwing it in the garbage unless I paid them for murdering it. I never got it back and now I'm left without any computer and lost everything I had on that one.
DO NOT take your computers here unless you want rude service and to be left with nothing.

I needed a spreadsheet created it need some pretty intense formulas. I tried the ai thing that didn’t work. I had work on my old computer done at the computer clinic they did an awesome job. So I called Adam to see if he could help me out designing this spreadsheet. Man did he ever. Fantastic job he helped out so much, I highly recommend the computer clinic. Class act, great people. Adam is extremely knowledgeable. I can't think of any other company in Regina that has the same level of expertise and experience with back-ups, Linux, data recovery, and other services. I’ll always recommend this place to anyone needing PC repairs or service. I’ve come across posts where people are questioning the $50 diagnostic fee. However, this fee is pretty standard in industry, and many don’t realize how much work goes into diagnostics. It requires resources, time, and effort. Plus, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair cost once someone approves the work, which isn't always mentioned."

Small businesses like this are the backbone of local communities. They often provide personalized, high-quality service that larger companies can’t match. More people should recognize the value of these businesses and spread the word about the great work they're doing.

this happened a few months ago

I bought a used laptop and a Wi-Fi adapter from The Computer Clinic. Despite having 20 years of hands-on experience in PC repair, I was talked down to and given the runaround when I found a hardware defect that should’ve been covered by warranty. I was polite and clear, but the technician blamed me instead of owning the issue. I ended up fixing the laptop myself and won’t be returning. Be cautious and double-check what you’re buying here.
PS If you have a disability or anything like I do do not go here they are very rude And they mocked me just for having a disability, which is not right

The computer clinic is exactly what you want from a computer repair store. Computer geniuses working on your machine. Saving it from ruin, or at least recovering your data.

Obviously the location is super cool but the staff are what make the place sing. You know right away that you're in good hands... And when they try to tell you to purchase the antivirus or backup software, listen to them. Remember that you're there because your computer died and you didn't have antivirus or backup 😭😭😭

It was disappointing to come here.
We came to fix our computer, because we didn't know how to fix it. They told us to come the next day. When we came, they said they couldn't fix the computer and they asked us to pay for the repair + tax.
We were really disappointed because they couldn't do their job but still took our money. We really don't recommend you come here, they can't do anything for you and you still have to pay them.
