It was our first time visiting Manitou Beach, and we were looking for a place to grab something to eat and drink. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. I'm usually not a fan of fast food, but I really enjoyed the burgers—the flavors were great! The beer was smooth, and the cocktail recommended by our server was a perfect choice. She was very helpful in guiding us to something we’d enjoy. Overall, we had a great meal and a wonderful experience. One small suggestion: having a drink menu would be helpful, especially for newcomers to Canada like me

Lakeside beach bar. Meal and drink specials. No.one sits inside, but rather outside! Great view of the lake! Music bands playing weekends throughout the summer. Recommend!

August 30th 2025. Went swimming in Manitou lake with my husband. We stopped into Mike's afterwards for a bite to eat. Absolutely a fan! We sat out on the patio that overlooked the Lake. The service was wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. The food..... my goodness.... delicious!! We both had the Manitou burger that came with coleslaw and your choice of fries, onion rings or salad. I chose the onion rings and honestly they were the best onion rings I've ever had. The coleslaw was so creamy and the burger... perfect! I highly recommend this establishment and this meal. Of you like spicy, definitely get this burger. Thank you Mike's for the great food!

Was just absolutely disappointed. Walked in and got instantly kicked out because they don't allow minors. Came down all the way from Manitoba and was really looking for to trying there food and to get treated so rudely by the server. I would expect some place to accommodate customers, at least let them sit on the patio or have a designated area for families. VERY UPSET!!

We visited for the first time today and had two incredible burgers. I don’t know what they do to their fries but I would like to eat those every day of my life. Everyone was super friendly. The building itself could use some love and maintenance, but in the end it’s part of the charm. You have to go to this place.

Me and my son's girlfriend had planned to have lunch here today. I have an ESA. I have all the documentation for her on my phone. I have been here before with her and it's never been a problem. However today was the first time I ran into Mike himself, at least that's who I'm assuming it was. I've never seen any other gentlemen around the bar. Always dealt with the ladies before and had great service. His approach was kind of rude and wanting to see proof of me having my dog and being able to have my dog come in. I have absolutely no problem in showing proof to validate that she is mine and I can have her come in with me. I didn't even get a chance to explain what type of service she does for me because I do know that an ESA does not have all the same legal rights as a full service dog. if I would have even been allowed to say that she was an emotional support animal and he said sorry we do not allow them here totally fine because that is his right and he does have a legal right to refuse service to anyone. He would not accept proof on my phone he wanted physical copies. he spelled that off before even knowing what type of service she provides for me. "In Canada, businesses can ask if an animal is a service animal and what tasks it performs for a person with a disability, but they cannot ask for proof of the animal's status. Therefore, showing proof from a phone, such as an ESA letter, is not a requirement and businesses cannot demand it. However, it's not against the rules to show the proof if you choose to." That's legal. Right from the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. So what he did was illegal!!! I was like fine turn around and left. I have had my dog at both provincial and federal courthouses, hospitals anywhere you can think of and have never ever had a problem they have always accepted proof of my phone. Until today. Part of me can understand where they're coming from but his attitude about it was something to be desired. It was really sad to see because I have been in there before with her. But because of my interaction today I don't think I'll be going back and I will be missing out on other events and not that I was willing to pay to go to and participate there.

Nice Beach style bar in the Resort Village of Little Manitou Lake.
We've gone here for years & always features good food at reasonable prices... we like the platter specials, deep fried pickles 🥒🥒🥒 are so weird but so good with an ice cold beer.
The deck is right on Manitou Lake with nice views and of course the large beach volleyball courts. Live music occasionally. Thanks to Mike and all the staff making this a very cool local bar👍 We will be back😃✌️
