Mondo & Company at Granville Island is a shop specializing in very original items hand crafted in Africa. Amazing colours and textures in everything including jewelry, fabrics, ornaments, and a long etc. If you are looking for a hand woven basket, this is the place, Mondo has them available in many different shapes and sizes. The music in the background adds to the ambiance, it transports you to that continent. The overall feel here is quite different, but totally fits within the Granville Island experience.

I have purchased 3 pillows that Mondo produced out of artisan-designed fabric. They're in my living room, used regularly, and have held up very well. The staff/owners of the shop are welcoming and very knowledgeable about the items they have for sale.

Wow! What a cool store - stuffed full of interesting items for home and gifts... and you can feel good about making any purchases because all items ethically sourced/fair trade/sustainable... Loved the African baskets, and picked up an amazing salad bowl/utensils set. Great find on Saltspring Island.

Awesome store! Bought a one of a kind small leather bag. The owner was super awesome and helpful. Definitely a store to look into when you are visiting Salt Spring. Prices are good, service is friendly and awesome and you can find some unique finds. What more can you ask for! 🙂
