Impressed. First of all they were easy to initially communicate with (ie. returning calls) and to schedule getting my electrical issue looked at. Secondly an electrician and his apprentice actually showed up on time. Thirdly they were friendly, professional and happily (and patiently) answered all my questions. Last but not least, they worked efficiently and solved my issue in an hour and were on they're way. I'm not sure what I expected, but these folks checked all the boxes - easy to deal with, affordable and effective.

I hired A&M in August for an easy ceiling light replacement. The electrician was pleasant, and quick, but the light wasn't put on straight, and when I mentioned it, he said he didn't know how to fix it.

I didn't realize when I booked the appointment that it was for an hour of service, even though it didn't take that long. So I paid for someone to put crystals on a crooked light fixture.

I attempted to pay when the electrician left, but no, he didn't know how much it would cost, and I had to sign a blank service contract.

I guess I'm lucky that it was just shy of $200 for a CROOKED LIGHT FIXTURE when it could have been much more.

I called A & M on a Sunday around 630 pm. Their technician called me back in 5mins and was at home assessing and diagnosing my issue within the hour. Brandon was polite and professional and did what he could to restore power. On Wednesday when the part arrived two electricians came to the house to install at 200amp breaker for us. A & M contacted the Electric company to arrange power to be shut off and arrived on time Wednesday morning and completed the work promptly and professionally. Everyone was polite, professional and clean. They informed of all the work they needed to do, arrived on time and left no mess. If I have any issues in the future I will not hesitate to call A & M again. Thank you all for the great, professiona service.l

I wish I had called them sooner. I needed a thermostat swapped out. They were available within 2 days of my call, gave a time window that they kept to and the electrician was courteous. For the first winter in two years I came home to a warm house. Thank you!

The only reason I gave this place even 1 star is due to their very curious answering service staff. Other than that, this is by far one of the most unprofessional and rude businesses I have encountered since moving to Port Hope. I called for 3 days in a row asking for help because my power was out, and got absolutely no response! So disgusted
