We are very impressed with the team at Northumberland County Moving. They are as professional as the big name movers we have used previously. Tanya and Amy, the front line, were great at keeping up with our changing needs through a 10 month process which included having Northumberland store all our possessions. The move team in the fall and the team will had install our things this Spring were strong, careful, professional and patient as we tried to get everything in place.

These folks are great! From my first contact with Tanya to shaking hands with the crew when the job was completed was a totally professional experience. Tanya was completely amazing with her explanation of the process, the timing and the estimated costs and she was spot on with her estimate!!The crew arrived in Toronto on time and did a walk through to get the feel of things and then started hauling stuff immediately, no standing around with these guys! Once the loading was completed, they took a quick lunch break and then drove to the new location in Port Hope. Immediately started unloading and we were completely moved in under 8 hours start to finish! Many thanks to Tyler, Chris and Isaiah for their great work and professional service, you guys rock!

My mother was moving to a retirement home. The whole team made this a good experience. Tanya at the office was friendly and helpful. The movers, Tyler and Joe, were efficient and right on time. They worked quickly and did a lot of extra moving around of furniture left in my house. It was pouring rain and windy, and no service elevator where we were going. Not one grumpy comment or anything negative. I will definitely use them for my next move.

When searching for a moving company to move my Mother, Northumberland County Movers were recommended to me. From first contact with Tanya, I was very impressed. Tanya was professional, friendly and very helpful. The quote I received was very reasonable. On the day of the move, the fellows arrived on time and my Mother's items were placed with care into the moving truck. My Mother and I met the movers at her new residence. The fellows were very efficient, professional and friendly. I was particularly impressed with how kind they were to my Mother, and also that they were agreeable to being swabbed and wearing masks to enter Mom's new home. This meant a lot as we have learned during this moving process, this isn't always something people are willing to do. I HIGHLY recommend NCMC to anyone who is looking for a reliable, reasonable and professional company. The staff are AMAZING! A big THANK YOU for helping an otherwise difficult day go smoothly.

Stored my property with them for almost 18 months prior to moving, when finally bringing my furniture we noticed lots of damage. They have done nothing to make reparations to our furniture for the damage occurred during storage. 2 leather chairs with indents that are not coming out! book stand with broken support cross member. Oh I should add that they offered .60 cents a lb for damage to our 900 dollar chairs what a joke and that was for damage incurred while moving not for storage. I sent a comment to them on their website and they didnt have the common courtesy to reach out to me. No wonder they are not members of the better Business Bureau. Not surprised at all!!
