I hired Dave to put in pot lights over my island about 3 years ago. He sent one of his staff whom was a very knowledgable young woman named Kate and her helper a young gentlemen but I don’t know his name. My husband who has been in construction for over 30 years and I both were extremely pleased with the work that was done and the affordable price. Kate and her helper were very personable and very very efficient, this girl knows what she is doing. Then last week we had Dave over for an estimate on getting in 5 more pot lights put in, he came shortly after our phone call and gave a very fair estimate and said he would do it the next week. Lo and behold we got a call yesterday to say that he would be sending Kate again to do the job and once again this young woman came on her own this time, was so nice to deal with and did a fantastic, professional and speedy job. Dave came by to have a look and to make sure we were happy which we were.

My husband and I would definitely recommend Norfolk Electric to do work for anyone and we would have him back again if we need any electrical work done. Also it is nice to know that you can hire a good quality local business and be satisfied.

I was very much looking forward to working with Dave, had him out to view the work, scheduled a date to do the work, then no show on the date of the work. Called up, re-scheduled, then again, no show on the date of the scheduled work. Spoke again, said he would be there roughly between Monday - Wednesday after back from a fishing trip. Called all 3 days and no show again. I've called a total of 11 times and no longer get call-backs or responses when I call. I have a full days worth of work to be done but apparently no interest in the work.
Would not recommend Norfolk Electric. I've been working on scheduling work to start for over 2 1/2 months and the work is safety related but no response. I never write reviews but feel my safety has been put at risk by lack of care from Dave and would find him liable if something were to go wrong.

I rarely write reviews of local companies but I felt the need to take the time to review this one. Dave is a terrific guy and works hard in his profession. He knows his stuff when it comes to his trade and does a professional job at a very affordable rate. If you're looking for an electrician for residential or commercial work, you found the guy you need to call!

Dave was a nice enough guy but he never came to start the project and didn't return a single phonecall. WE met in 2017 and discussed a spring 2018 project. I would not have minded if he had returned the call to say he was too busy but he just went radio silent. Not professional. Call someone else. Do not waste your time. He doesn't call back

Over three weeks ago I had them come out and give us a quote on a Generac system. The sales rep came took measurements and we picked the unit I would purchase.
We have yet to receive a quote, I have reached out three times and the only response is the girls in the office are very busy.

If they ignore your business at the quote stage, I would hate to see them at the starting work stage. Avoid this company.

built a shop and he wanted me to bring 400 amp service from the road to power it and then run it to my house for 25k (this includes the hydro 1 fees), had another company come in and install a sub panel for $1500
