The staff has no manners how to talk with people.Specifically,receptionist.She is really rude .I had called there and told me that we don’t hire people here for work .

If you want to spend hours signing up, so you can supposedly get hooked up with a job through all their "connections" then definitely go waste your time.
You will get a friendly email every 3 months asking if you've found a job and if you still require their imaginary services.

Can’t even register. Been waiting 6 weeks and don’t know how much longer just to register for services. Extremely unhappy and don’t understand this long, lengthy process that no one will explain. I just want to work and support my kids, why is that so difficult

They are amazing! I feel so much more accountable to myself because I have someone on my side supporting me in my career and job search. They have helped me figure out all my options and helped me get to where I need to be. Through resume printing, to research into second career and teachers college, interview prep and things to consider about day care options, wow! I've never made a better decision than to get help from professionals.

I Highly recommend Lutherwood!

The staff are absolutely fantastic ! very understanding, and super helpful ! I am thankful to have been introduced to Lutherwood. They have helped me out in many ways that even words can’t describe how thankful I am for this company . They helped get me two hearing aids that I been needing my whole life and this is something I will forever be grateful for , also helped with job searches , resume building etc . My experience with lutherwood has been a very pleasant one & positive experience ! Thank you to all staff !

We were referred by Ontario Disability Support (ACE program) to assist my autistic son in finding a job or volunteer position. Our case worker kept rescheduling appointments last minute (5 separate times for 2 meetings). When we did get in all he did was give a critique on my son's existing CV & go to a public job board and guide him through the application wizards. Maybe we were under a bad assumption, but we expected an actual placement program based on what we were told and what was advertised. There was no reason to go there to just do what we had already done months ago. Then our case worker announced to us that he was leaving and neither he, nor Lutherwood, has contacted us since. Pretty disappointing really. We have now wasted our time and resources with this org, and are exactly where we started. All too typical of our experience with the "community help" industry!

Always pleasant and helpful staff...reception to employment counsellors.and they have a table of donated mitts, hats,scarves, socks...which is give or take til christmas so that's awesome!!

Said that I'm ineligible for getting help to pay last month's rent on a new apartment. I'm disabled, and am being evicted because my landlord says they want to move into my unit. Alicia says she can't help because the eviction notice is for Jan 31, but the place I found, which was the only affordable apartment in the region, is for Jan 1.

This entire city seems to be competing to see how many homeless people they can manufacture.
