We did a stop here as part of a test run for a new Salt Spring Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour offering. We more than filled the establishment. Although a bit rainy that day, there is a deck overlooking the orchards which would be very nice on a warm summer day for sitting back and enjoying a flight of ciders. I tried all of the available ciders and found them quite agreeable.

Ordered bare root apple trees because of the large selection of unique varieties. The trees were of very high quality. Had 100% success of all 30 trees. Exceptional growth and branching. Very highly recommended. Thank you!

A neat place.
The venue is clean/tidy. We visited near the end of the day and season, so they weren't offering full menu, but it didn't look extensive.
Honestly, I wasn't a fan of most of their ciders. I prefer sweeter ones, and most of theirs are crisp/dry. I think if you appreciated more complex flavours you could really love this place. All the different flavours come from different species of apple, not additives (other fruits/whatever). So they're really complex--just not for me.
The host was very friendly and the view was great.

I've been coming to the apple festivals on Salt Spring for well over a decade. During that time I've gotten to watch this orchard progress from a fledgling operation to the premiere establishment on Salt Spring, no small achievement on an island boasting such a rich apple history and community. It is THE place to buy apple trees, with thousands of whips available from their nursery, all grafted on site. The view is stunning from the balcony of the cidery, where you can sample a flight of their increasingly mature and varied hard ciders.

I have never written a review before but we had such a nice stay at this bed and breakfast that I thought it deserved a review. Peri is a very welcoming host and treats you more like family than a guest. This bb is more like an homey apartment, with all the amenities that you could wish for. Separate washroom facilities for each bedroom was a pleasant plus. With lots of room to relax and enjoy your stay. It is a central location to the island which allows for little day trips in any direction. The view from the patio is spectacular and is where we enjoyed her wonderful breakfast of fresh baking. homemade granola, yogurt and fruit salads. If we every make it back to salt spring this will be my first choice to stay and recommend it highly to anyone else visiting this little island.

So excited to pick up heritage apple trees from here. They have over 400 varieties of apples and Brian is very knowledgeable. We even found a ribston pippin which is the father of the cox orange. Also got an Esopus Spitzenberg. They have started making their own ciders as well. We tried a variety pack, they were all in a drier style but there wasn't much difference between the selection. Still a very cool place to go if you're an apple nerd.
