And we were so thankful it was on this Monday of Thanksgiving.
We were welcomed into a calm, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with pleasant music.
The food gently tickled our pallets with
lingering flavours.
I would go out of my way to stop and enjoy Shawn's lemon cake any day of the week (except Wednesday when they are closed). If you are in the area or traveling through Halliburton, I would 💯 recommend you stop and enjoy.

YUM! Great food, friendly service, and a full tummy! The atmosphere is nice, and well thought out. Mirrors for a small room, well laid out, even the bar seating was actually comfortable.
I had the Bolognese with wild boar and thoroughly enjoyed it, good size serving and flavourful. My other half had the trout dinner and had good things to say. Similar notes from my friends who had the steak and the fungi pizza.
I enjoyed the tortufo dessert.

Very smart decisions by this business to limit their services, seating, etc. to ensure that their guests have the best experience, and the staff is not spread too thin. I appreciate the thought and details they have clearly put in here.

Oh my, this was my first experience at Juna! If I knew it was this good, I would have run to this hot spot of taste bud fireworks. The salad appetizer was super refreshing, followed by an amazing grilled veggie panini and then….drum roll please…the Award-winning lemon ricotta cake —> WOW! I want to sing! Haliburton is blessed to have this gem!

I had lunch at Juna Italian and was blown away! I ordered the cacio e pepe (gluten-free), and it was hands down the best gluten-free pasta dish I’ve had since going GF — perfectly cooked, creamy, and full of flavor. My daughter had the margherita pizza and absolutely loved it. The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere made it such an enjoyable meal. Highly recommend for both gluten-free and regular diners alike! Highly recommend!!

Excellent food, great atmosphere, comfortable seating and friendly service. Reservations were easy online. Thanks to Christoph and Terri for bringing a great restaurant to downtown Haliburton. We will definitely be back.

It's so nice to have a more upscale dining option in Haliburton! We have been big fans of Rhubarb in Minden. Juna is from the same owners...and it shows. Fabulous food (the pizza is a must and we also enjoyed the oysters!), beautiful cocktails, great service and the restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated. It's small and highly recommend bar seats or one of the two tables at the front windows. The menu is just the right size - no laundry list of a million options so you know they are making the food fresh. There is a nice cocktail and wine list. We enjoyed sitting at the bar seeing how various drinks are made and chatting with bartender/our server. We will be back!

We were excited to try JUNA in Haliburton Village on opening night tonight and it did NOT disappoint! Delicious pasta, great atmosphere, and a nice selection of mocktails.

Love the thoughtful design touches all around the resto and the beautifully selected cutlery, glassware/dishware. Of course I had to try the gelato dessert (delish). Side note: JUNA has a low key NYC vibe too, we felt.

We look forward to going back again soon.

First time in Haliburton and I’m so glad we stumbled upon this gem! The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe—the staffs and the owner are just as lovely.

We started with oysters and wow… so fresh! Their pasta was insanely good, and the steak? Chef’s kiss! Everything just hit the spot perfectly.

If you’re ever in the area, this spot is a must-try. Definitely coming back! 🫶🏼
