Cannot thank David enough! He went above and beyond to track down a good IRS for my brother's frame-off restored 1969 TRS with O/D. He even drove to another shop himself to pick up the IRS and managed to negotiate retention of my old IRS. Cancer got my brother way too early a few years ago, so I bought the TR6 to store it in my heated garage until one of his kids are ready.

Ask for Dave! Never in my life have I met a more honest and skilled mechanic. Brought my 2015 Mercedes Benz S550 in for some work on the cooling system and he was immediately able to diagnose and solve the problems. My car was in and out, even offered some free wisdom when I came to pick my car up! If you have a Land Rover or Jaguar I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else; if you drive a Toyota I wouldn’t take it anywhere else. These guys are the real deal, with years of experience to show for it. So happy to connect with David at BMC. I spoke to him several times on the phone about my car and the issues I was dealing with. He was friendly, patient and at no point gave the impression he was trying to get me off the phone.

Although they specialize in classic British cars, I was hoping to have some work on my 64 Corvair Monza Spyder. He was clearly very busy and booked up but squeezed me in to address any of my immediate issues. Within a couple hours I had it back and on the road and it was running great.

I’ll be booking my car back in once he has an opening for a full look over, test drive and servicing for whatever he deems necessary.

Great experience with David and BMC Motors. Found by chance when looking online for a replacement battery for non-starting Subaru Impreza WRX. While I understand they specialize in older British sportscars David was still open and able to help, with clearly a lot of experience. Patient on phone to walk through the issue and give some guidance and then worked though the car methodically to fine the issue (it wasnt the battery) . Parts etc were more than I had envisaged but that's down to the age and driving history of car; its back running better now thanks to David and team.

I had a great experience with David! He worked on my 1969 MGB and was instantly effective and informative. He knows MGs, Jags, Triumphs, Austin Healey intimately. He adjusted the valves, corrected an issue with my distributor and overhauled my carburetors. My little car is running better than ever.
