Gave us a 12 minute pick up ETA, was 30mins late never showed and when I called the 3rd time.. he said “call another cab company”. 0/10 do not recommend.

Terrible service and poor communication. I booked a cab and was told it would arrive in 5 minutes, but after waiting for nearly 30 minutes, it was still nowhere to be found. The dispatcher stopped answering calls. The entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Avoid this company if you need a reliable ride.

We used A1 taxi and Dale was absolutely wonderful! Polite, funny and went above and beyond. He also gave recommendations of where the best breakfast places were so we went to Bro'kin Tok (broken yoke). It was also amazing. I highly recommend this company 😊

One star cause I have to! taxi ride from basecamp lodge to Rose and Crown. Three Sisters was requested by us.
the lodge made the call and we waited outside. this company scooped their fare. (Unbeknownst to us) he charged us $17 for a 3 min ride. said Saturdays are more expensive. total lie. $10 anywhere in Canmore. DO NOT USE

Was driving 140km/h in the parkway toward Canmore, tried to run my girlfriend and I off the road. Crazy driver. Called a different cab company as we couldn’t see the name on the side, they were VERY quick to mention it was A1E and that this driver is known for being VERY aggressive. Do not use this company. Sounds like they charge double also judging by the other 1 star reviews

I was traveling from the US on a weekend vacation with my friends to visit Banff-Lake Louise. I scheduled an earlier flight to return home than my friends, and needed to get back to Calgary YYC early next morning (about ~1 hr away). I called A1 the night before, frantically searching for a price-friendly and available taxi service. Ali was awesome from the start - quickly noting my details and confirming via text a couple mins later about pickup details. I met him outside my hotel at 6:15am the next morning and had a smooth ride to the airport! Ali was friendly and very accommodating - I will definitely remember Ali / A1 when my friends and I
visit again next time!

Had the absolute greatest travel experiences with Ali. We were staying in Harvie Heights for a couple days and Ali was the man to call for every ride we needed. Such a kind and friendly man, very knowledgeable about Banff and Canmore. He knows all the good spots to hit and things to do. He loves nature and wildlife and shared many of his experiences with us. Very reasonable prices for cabs around Banff and Canmore and would absolutely recommend Ali to anyone visiting.
